This shoe is VERY comfortable. I love the style and the fit. I've had the shoe for about 3 months and the inside lip of the shoe, near the shoelace on BOTH of my shoes have a tear. It's not from the shoe lace either. I'm not sure what it is from but feel that it shouldn't be wearing so quickly.

I loved my Freedom originals and had maybe 6 different colors in them. Love the 4mm drop, relatively light shoe, and the shoe and sole traction held up to high road miles, but I would wear out the top of the toe section quickly. When I got my first pair of Freedom 2's, I was sad to say the toe box covering mesh was wide open. Road debris would easily enter my shoe while running, and this made them poor options for rain or winter running conditions. So, I was VERY happy to find that the Freedom 3's are still true to fit, feel, and soles are still great AND the toe box's mesh is a closed knit! I hope it holds up better against my toes from the inside and the elements from the outside say OUT of my shoe. I wish there was more fun, color options for the Freedoms is my only complaint.

I have worn Saucony for over 5 years now. It was my first shoe when I began seriously running and both the Ride and Freedom models have gotten me through 4 marathons. However, I was seriously disappointed with this one I wear an 8 in all Saucony shoes. With these, as soon as I started running, my heel started slipping out the back. I had to curl my toes to keep my foot down, which has ended up causing me toe pain. If I sized down though, the toe box would fit too snug. There's something seriously weird about the fit of these shoes. Second, after only one run the shoelaces started fraying. For a top-price shoe, this is certainly not what I expected. Now I have these shoes that cause me pain and are not even quality to to the laces. My advice is make sure they fit your heel and maybe have some backup laces if you buy these. Or just switch models.

This shoe offers good padding for my runs but I noticed that my feet & back hurt after running in them. I didn't have this problem with my old Saucony Triumphs or Omnis. I think this neutral shoe isn't good for someone with flat feet like me.

Not enough support for pronation. Love the arch support though

I wanted to like these shoes based off of other reviews, but I just don't like them very much and do not think they are worth the price compared to other Saucony shoes I've tried.

This shoe isn't that cute to me. Seems to look like a style from years ago; maybe it was just the Sky color which is not very attractive but the only color left in my size. Pretty good cushioning but just wasn't a comfortable shoe overall. I have super sensitive feet and could actually feel the ridges under the removable insole and that is a deal killer for me. I usually take a 7.5 or 8 and needed the 8 in the Freedom 3. I am super happy Saucony is offering more 4 mm drop shoes, though. Wish more companies would start filling this mid-range drop for people like me that can't wear a zero, but 6 mm is too high. Just need to find one that is comfortable to me. Thank you ZAPPOS for allowing me to shop and return so easily and for FREE! You guys ROCK!!

I waited for a bit before i did a review. Out of the box, they are so comfortable, After three pairs of iSO Freedoms, i bought these. they fit like a glove, and since I have a narrow heel, that is key! however, after not even a month, i am seeing wear patterns on the bottoms - particularly the heels. I am purchasing the Ride 13 to see if perhaps with the 8 mm drop, that will work better for my foot. Shoe advisor (based on what I entered), indicated it should be neutral, however my right foot does have some suppination, but stability is definitely too rigid for my left. we shall see..... if the Ride sneakers are a better choice.

I was looking for a neutral, cushy shoe for daily running. While I like the feel of them a lot, they are not holding up. I run approximately 20-25 miles per week, and since I've had them I've only used them on the treadmill. I don't think they've ever left my house. Each shoe has a frayed spot from where i presume my sock is rubbing. The left shoe is on the left side of the tongue, on the shoe itself. The right shoe has a frayed spot in a different place along the opening. I had hoped these would last at least six months.

The freedom 3 is a stylish and comfortable shoe that's availe in an array of colors. I purchased this style because is was the suggested option for flat feet; however this style did lack internal, instep side of my foot support.

Unfortunately this shoe did not provide the support I needed in the arches and the ball of my foot so I had to return it. It's a good shoe, just not the one for me.

Disappointed in the redesign. I loved the freedom 2 but the freedom 3 is totally different. They just don't fit my foot as well.

I loved these shoes at first. They had a really good springy feel to them and a lot of cushioning. I am injury prone so those things are important to me. The down side is that at around 120-150 miles the she was showing some major wear issues. The soles were bare of traction and my feet are starting to hurt when I run. I really wanted them to last but sadly they will not. If possible I'll attach pics to this review to show the amount of wear.

I've had great success with the Freedom ISO 1 and 2, but someone had to mess with what worked. Been running for close to 4 decades and can't count the number of times companies have "fixed" what wasn't broken. Padding is such that it feels like you're wearing 2 pairs of socks and they put extra padding back by the achilles. Another brand did this years ago - leading to a whole bunch of people getting achilles tendonitis... A larger size was suggested, but that would have lengthened the shoe changing the push off point. Upper material seemed inferior to the 1 & 2. Didn't even like the color - but that was due to limited selection. Returned the shoe and trying to decide where to go for my next favorite shoe. Freedom replaced the Zealot - another favorite shoe that was broken.

Pros - Nice looking, comfortable upper - Moderately cushioned insole Cons - Shoe cut high around ankles and heel - Shoe length runs a little short - Tongue lacks padding I was excited to try the Freedom 3 after enjoying the Freedom ISO 2. Unfortunately this update mostly misses the mark. While the new upper is nicely designed and the PWRRUN+ insole feels good, the redesigned fit ruins what would otherwise be a great running shoe. The Freedom 3 is cut so high around the heel and ankle area that it partially covers my outside ankle bones. Just wearing the shoes around the inside of my house to get a feel for the fit left both of my ankles irritated and swollen, which I've never experienced with another running shoe. With just a few changes this could be an amazing running shoe. I'm hoping Saucony will consider contouring the ankle area when it comes time to design the Freedom 4. Until then, I'll be stocking up on the Freedom ISO 2.

I always wear a 12 In Saucony so I ordered a 12 and they were way too large! Ordered them in a 11.5 and those felt really tight on the area by the ball of my foot so I had to return those as well. Disappointed because I loved the pink look.

This is not the same shoe as the original Freedoms. This shoe is oversized in length and width. This would have been my third pair Freedoms but I had to return them. Very frustrating to have a company change the fit and sizing of a shoe when much of the commerce world is now online. In addition, because they do not have a smaller size available, they will deduct shipping from my refund.

These shoes are very comfortable but are falling apart after a short time. I haven't treated them roughly but there are holes appearing in the toes and the heel seams are disintegrating inside.

I am so impressed with the comfort of this shoe - I have struggled to find a shoe that supports my foot and I was so impressed to hit the jackpot with this model. I am so upset that after less than 80km of running, I am already seeing a hole in the heel. I love this shoe but I cannot justify shelling out the money for them if they break down that quickly.

I started experiencing some arch pain and tighntess while running shortly after beginning to wear these. I took some time off running and updated my stretching and strengthening routine in case it was the beginning of plantar fasciitis or some other issue, however, every time I ran in these shoes the arch pain would come back around mile 1. It did not seem like pain typical of plantar fasciitis or other common causes of arch pain and was in both feet. After doing some research and reading more reviews, I decided to try another pair of shoes and have been running with no problem in the other shoes. I don't think these shoes are for everyone.

Product too large by one size and had to pay return shipping. This used to be my favorite running shoe before the size adjustment 2 years ago. I was hoping the new model would be a true size 9 but it was not.

My review keeps being deleted. I wanted to love this shoe, but after only two runs, (about 7 miles) I have never been in so much pain! I'm an avid Freedom ISO fan and had about 6 pairs of the first iteration. I tried the ISO 2, which was wider and sloppy. I had high hopes for this new version as I am training for my 8th half marathon and these shoes aren't the ones anymore. I don't know if it's the new foam, but something is definitely off with this version. Not happy.

I immediately demoted these sneakers to everyday and shorter walk shoes, though they were top price, and I bought them for running. (The Shoe Advisor recommended them for this). The bending soles are thin enough to feel gravel ridges under my feet. The stiff and strong cushion and support I've always gotten from Saucony are not represented here.
