I've run in these a few times and it hasn't gone very well. After my first run I had bad lower back pain (which I have but rarely, if ever, results from running. After my 3rd run, I have extensor tendinitis. I can't say for certain it is the shoes, but I think I'll have to go back to my Asics. Too bad, they are comfortable and was really looking for a new shoe.

Don't bother with this shoe if you plan to do any running. The quality control stinks. I've had great Cohesions and others with inconsistent fit, stitching, or materials. The laces are cheap and awful. Worst case scenario you will injure yourself. Happened to me. The heel cup was so out-of-mold that a sharp piece of the plastic protruded into the foot bed under the insole. I only ran four miles on it but my heel was injured, seemingly bruised and almost cut. I quickly threw those pair away and got a another Saucony product. It's been over a week and I still feel the injury. I will never buy Cohesions again. Just spend a little more and get a better quality shoe. One more bad experience and I may start looking for a different brand. Love Saucony, would hate to leave the brand over QC issues. So far the higher priced models have not been affected.
