Literally could not get the shoe on the kids foot. When I returned in store was told this is a common problem with the preschool slip ons. Y'all gotta make these wider.

These run small so probably get a bigger size but they are pretty super cute

Bought these so my daughter could slip them on by herself, but the heel opening is so stiff and tight I have to jam her foot in. Not practical

I used the guide for these shoes, I needed these for a photo shoot and they were to tight and hurt her feet. I recommend sizing up!

Adorable print, but my son could not even get his foot in the shoe. Returning.

Super cute shoe but my daughter wore them twice and the glitter has come off in several spots. I feel like a few more wears and most of the glitter will be gone. She's super disappointed

My kids only wore them once and I got them in the correct size, a half size bigger, but they are too small. Made a sore on one of my twins heels. I don't even know what size I should've gotten. Why isn't the scale accurate? I bought them as a gift and by the time they actually wore them, it was too late to return. Waste of money.

Vans needs to realize that the sole to top of foot space is way too narrow for most young kids feet. My son was so disappointed that he couldn't get his new shoes on he was so looking forward to having. I can size up, but then they'll be too big length wise.

We had 4 other pairs of these in smaller sizes. This last time I bought one size 10.5 and the other one is 11. They are too tight for my son. The smaller ones had the side velcro thing on them too and these do not. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with them being too tight. Please make them wider because these were moms favorite. I don't think the kiddo cares too much what he wears as long as it's comfortable.

These are the entirely too tight to fit my sons foot. I should have sized up. I have already threw the boxes away as he was so excited, sadly waited to try on

Loved these shoes but, bought size 10.5 was too small. Ordered 11 and still extremely narrow. Bummed daughter loved them! Had to return.

Bought a size 12 and could barely get my son's foot in the shoe. They run super narrow, and he was not comfortable. Took them into a vans store and exchanged for a Velcro version of a high top which was much easier to get on and off. The shoe is adorable, maybe would work if you sized up or if kid has really narrow feet.

Bought size 2.5 for my 8-year-old daughter. Cool flames and tiger head graphics. Super small tho - kid couldn't even get her foot inside. She has a typical 2-2.5 foot. I should have taken the other reviews to heart but I ordered anyway. Quick and easy return. No hassle. Next time we'll try on in person.

I ordered these as we love the sparkles. I thought it would be more tan/beige, but is very yellow. We love the sparkles, but not the accompanying yellow.

These shoes fit my 5 year old once he can get them on, but they take about 10 minutes and a shoe horn for him to get them on, despite the fact that he has been putting on his own shoes for 3 years. The elastic is too tight and the canvas is too stiff for him to put them on independently without a struggle. Even with my help, it took us 5 minutes to get them on. Once they are on, they fit fine, though the arch support is quite small and not very supportive. We bought them because they are a required dress code item for his school. Otherwise, we would be returning them. The effort it takes to put them on is ridiculous for a shoe that is supposedly made to slip on and off easily.

My daughter can wear a size 1 or 2 normally, I bought a 2 and she couldn't get her foot in it

These are adorable, unfortunately the sizing. Runs unbearable too small, I have to go way out of way to return them. wish I would've read the reviews

... my son complained about them being hard to get on, and he said the white part was too tight. He didn't want to try to break them in. Back they went.

As other reviewers have stated, these shows are way too difficult to get onto a kid's feet. They're fine once on and look cute but not worth the time and struggle of getting them on. My daughter won't wear them bc they hurt to put on, even after I ordered them a half size up to try to avoid this issue.

Disappointed. My grandson couldn't get his feet into shoes, the opening was too tight. Length was correct, but opening too small.

Bought a matching pair for my child and the foot opening was so small she could barely fit it.

Ordered true to size based reviews and they were way too small for my daughter. Her foot wouldn't even go in the shoe, and she doesn't have a wide foot at all. Definitely have to try on in person before purchasing! We returned our purchase.
