The zipper is tough to pull up and pull down and they run really small.

The back of the shoe by sipper is stiff and rubs. My daughter ended up with some pretty gnarly blisters (with socks). Hoping we can figure out how to break them in.

I got these for my 5 YO and they are really really difficult to get on even with loosening the laces. I wish I had opted for the non high tops. He's too young to know how to manipulate getting them on, so they are really frustrating. They are not getting much use due to this.

Ran a little small for my daughter's feet

Bought these for my 6 year old because she loves unicorns and now I see why they were on sale. The tongue on the shoe is very short but the laces are extremely long and different sizes. Still super cute but definitely have a defect.

My shoelaces turned pink

My 5 yr old daughter saw these and was instantly obsessed. Unfortunately due to the cut of the shoe on the the instep side she struggled too much to get her foot in. They fit true to size once we got it on. Sadly they were returned.

My grandson loves Vans, he wore these on a day it sprinkled and they got a little damp and the blue bled onto the shoe strings and white soles. Would not recommend colored vans for kids who love playing in water.

My child is very happy with them but they wear out quickly and do not last.

Bought for my son

As soon as I zipped up thr back if the shoe the zipper broke off.

The soles of the shoes I received are brown, not black as they are in the photo. If your child's school requires that the soles of the shoes are black, it's not worth gambling on these (or possibly any shoe on their website) since how they represent the shoes is unreliable.

I try to buy this with discount, but they are only in stores. How to buy a gift with the little one? Will be not a surprise for her. I will like the discount in store.

Cute but the quality of the zippers on these shoes has gone way downhill. It takes all my umph to zip these up there is no way my 6-year-old could do it. Will be returning.

I love vans and have been wearing them for over 30 years now. However, the child sizes run wayyyy small. Wish there was an online exchange policy.

The vans logo it's about to come off and I just got them not even a month ago

very difficult to put on. My daughter can't put them on by herself.

The zippers on back are hard to open and makes it difficult for my daughter and even myself to put them on.

I absolutely loved the the shoe but My son kept complaining in the "try on" stage. He said they where too tight. So i'm returning for a larger size.. Bummer..

Too small. Had to send them back. I ordered the next size up. Hope they fit. I like the look, would recommend but size up.

But this is the first pair to completely delaminate before the sole even wore through. Something was off at the factory for these.

I know my son is hard on his shoes but this shoe fell apart in just a couple of weeks. Never had this problem with problem with other vans shoes. I was having to glue it back together in many spots. The fabric pulled away from the rubber and the sole completely started to fall off the shoe.

This is the second time purchasing these shoes and the zipper broke both times. This time on the first try on out of the box.

These shoes are too narrow to kids. Very uncomfortable.

Showed up with the security tag still on them so they couldn't be used. Solved that problem just to learn zipper on one did not unzip.
