I ordered these knowing pretty they would be too narrow for me. I have owned many Birkenstock sandals and always wear the medium. I was right, too narrow. Man I wish these came in my width. Made more durable for the elements and would of been perfect. Sigh...

I've been a birk wearer for many years - they are always my favorite - whether it's the traditional style, gizeh or the EVA. When I saw the tread on these, I knew I wanted to try them. The foot bed is the same comfort you'd expect but the straps are placed a bit farther back from the toes than the Arizona style. They are very comfortable and I love the extra traction they offer, especially in rain. I usually wear a 39 narrow but in these I ended up with a 39 regular fitting best. They squeak a little on certain flooring but that's my only complaint ?

These need to come in wide width. Otherwise perfect!

I absolutely love these new Birkenstock’s. They are finally something that has a decent tread and won’t slip like the others do. They are far better than the similar styles like Tevas etc. because of the suede and cork. They don’t make my feet sweat like the others with the rubber foot beds and, of course, they are molding themselves to my foot like my other Birkenstock’s. I like the rugged material as well and they are very easy to adjust.

I bought a pair of these as I have always wished Birks had a better sole that was more sturdy and would last longer. This is it! Out of the box they were comfortable for me. I wore them walking on a recent trip with no problem. My partner liked them and he did not like the men’s option with leather. He liked the Velcro on mine that affords some adjustment. He is keeping his and happy with them.

Strange feeling on the soles of my feet, but got used to it and they are EXTREMELY comfortable.

Great idea, but not comfortable under the base of my toes. I have hallux limitus, and the sole bends a bit too much.

Bought these because me feet love the Birkenstock footbed, but the cork OVER conforms to my messed up feet and messes up my gait so I was hoping these would be more stable than the EVA and they are PERFECT! I love the adjustable straps and the velcro is super strong, not too ugly, but hope they come out with maybe a lighter color footbed and some prettier colors. I can see this even w the dark footbed in a red, pink, blues - you get the picture. I'd buy several BUT I don't think these will EVER wear out. Best Birks I ever bought, in my opinion :)

Love these Birkenstock Saharas ! I love the feel of the texture under my feet. They are comfortable, and sturdy. They have a lot more character than the black FITFLOPS i wear non-stop, AND, they are truly adorable on my feet. With this sole, these sandals will last a lot longer than regular flops.

Bottom was too hard - material uncomfortable

Felt just a bit too big, and wide. Could not adjust fit snug enough with the Velcro straps.

I purchased my usual Birkenstock size 39, but these felt wide. I compared them to my other shoes and they are wider. Kinda felt snowshoes until I got used to them. Also the footbed is textured but I got used to that as well. I have high arches and hoped they would feel like my other Birkenstocks and they do. I can wear all day and my feet do not hurt.

I did NOT expect to like these, but thought I'd just try them out. WOW, they are SO comfortable and have great support. I've only worn them around the house, but love them so far. Kind of mad I now that I'll be spending the extra $, lol, but I think its a good investment if they have the typical Birk life span.

They weren’t very flattering for the price.

Was excited to try these but toe rode so stiff it bruised my foot.

The fit was wrong. It put pressure on my foot and caused a pain like I was going to get a charlie horse in the foot and toe.

It's fits true to size. They are comfortable to waer

The fit is perfect, I needed a house shoe with a lot of support, these fit the bill. These are also perfect for outdoor activities, you can get them wet!

I think that these are a bit longer than my other Birkenstocks in the same size, however, I am not sure that a smaller size would be better so I am keeping them. These are comfortable right out of the box, and I am happy to see Birkenstock making a more water/nature friendly version of their shoes. The insole has some texture to keep your feet from slipping around if you get wet. I have 'thin' feet and have to really cinch down the top strap, which means that there is very little contact between the two sides of the velcro, and the excess strap sticks out a little oddly. No major complaints, and I think I will get a lot of use out of these.

I am so sad to send these back. The straps are way to long. I was thinking of taking to a shoe repair to shorten straps, but for the price I paid I’m going to let these go:(

I wish I could have made these work but the fit was just... weird. Wonky. Length was fine but overall felt wider than expected. I thought perhaps I could adjust the straps to deal with that but even with socks on I couldn't get the straps tight enough to keep these on my feet. They just felt loose and sloppy.

I wear a 7.5 medium (US), and these shoes (7 - 7.5, regular) felt way too big. Too wide, and too long. I loved the style; just very disappointed they had nothing narrower.
