I purchased these because I need a pair of shoes to wear inside the house due to plantar fasciitis. These are supposedly regular width, but are very narrow in the arch area and the upper is very tight across the ball of the foot. After having on for just a few minutes my toes started going numb from circulation being cut off. These will be a return.

This shoe was not what I expected. Crocs would be a better choice. They are cheap and full of static electricity so if you have pets, your shoes will be covered by hair.

Great! Supportive, true to size, not sloppy. Just what I was looking for. And what a pretty color.

For slip ones these are really great, light with super arch support.

I got size 36, the smallest size available of this Birkenstock Barbados Essentials at the time I ordered. I've been wearing size 34 open foot (wide/normal) in Birkenstock for decades. Since it was two sizes too big, it was too long and the arch support did not hit my foot in the correct spot. The width being medium was fine for my 2E wide feet but would have probably been too narrow in a 34. The toe grips seemed much more pronounced than the regular cork Birkenstocks. Rated well since I think they would be great if they had my size and width.

This is probably the best shoe purchase I’ve ever made. I live in South Florida and these shoes are the perfect fit for the SoFlo lifestyle.

I use these Birkenstocks for watering my yard and slipping on running to the store so I like them a little floppy

Fit perfect arch great but so stiff that they hurt the side of your foot and I don’t think they will soften as they are hard plastic or rubber

Made my feet sweaty. Yuck.

Sadly, this just didn't work for me, either in length (just a tad too short for my left foot), or in width - way too much space between the top of my foot and the upper strap. I'd have ordered the style with two adjustable straps but the color I wanted wasn't available in my size, and now I know the footbed won't work for me. I do better with Nato, but liked the idea of something waterproof.
