I love this shoe because this shoe allows one to perfectly customize the fit. I found the shoe runs to to size and width. I normally wear a 41R and the 41R fit perfectly. The arch support is great. This is my go to indoor shoe/slipper in the spring, summer and fall.

My size 36, narrow was way too big. sadly, I had to return them.Beautiful quality leather made.

Not perfectly comfortable, but hands down the most comfortable in dry conditions that I’ve found in a sandal. It’s become my go-to for day to day life if it’s dry outside, and while it’s wearing down a fair bit faster than I expected I am sure they will hold up for some time to come with a bit of care.

I gave these a shot since they were marked down, but didn't love the "midnight" color. I thought they would be a charcoal gray, but they are a very dark navy. I am sending them back for another color.

Shoe was fine, just did not like how the style fit on my foot.

They're beautiful and I love them, but I can't just slip my foot into them like I can with other sandals because one of the flaps always falls down so I have to hold it out of the way with one hand while my other hand holds the shoe.

Very stable - I’ll be the only one standing during the next earthquake, in the meantime a good walking shoe with the occasional trapping of debris on top of sole that needs to be cleared by dangling the shoe in front of you with shoe pointed upwards, this does not happen nearly as often with my OluKai leather sandals. One of them should combine the shiny leather of the OluKai’s and the better bottom sole of the Birk’s that has the mat top sole that tend to like the debris.

Love Birkenstocks but this style wasn't for me. I couldn't get the left foot strap tight enough but i have weird feet so they may be great for you. Thanks to Zappos for helping me find shoes which make these painful, arthritic feet as comfy as possible.

These are working out pretty well for my brother who has trouble with hands & feet both. Velcro is easy and he can wear with socks which he requires.

I really wanted to like these shoes but the length was so much longer than any other shoe I wear in the same size. At the same time, the heel cup was so narrow I could not wear the shoe.

These Birkenstock Kyoto sandals are definitely seconds or rejects. This is the third pair I've tried from Zappos and there's always something wrong with the shoe, e.g., stated as suede but more like stiff nubuck, fit is off on one shoe, etc. I have a pair of Kyoto sandals I bought directly from Birkenstock and they are perfect. Have not been able to duplicate the fit with any of the pairs I've received from Zappos. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!
