I picked this shoe for my Amazon Warehouse job. I returned another brand and picked this one instead. I find these very rugged and durable and feel they should last and I like the style. I normally wear a size 10 wide shoe and the size 10 was too big for me even with thick socks so I returned it for the 9.5 which fit better but I find that the top of my toes sometimes hit the composite toe about 30% of the time then it goes away later in the day, can't explain why. I find that wearing the laces very loose helps the fit. I agree that the laces are a little short. My feet do not hurt with these shoes and I feel comfortable being on my feet for 8-10hrs at work, but there is some slight rubbing in places that causes almost blisters. I also purchased Keen® K20 Cushion insole, but I found that it raised my toes closer to rubbing the composite toe so I removed them . Everyone's feet are different, so don't hesitate returning if they do not fit right. Zappos was very accommodating with allowing me to return previous shoes that did not work for me. I just needed to have shoes to work with so I didn't have to wear the slip-on composite toe tips anymore. So with that said I am satisfied with this purchase.

Fit nice but not enough cushion

Finally found a wide toe that is actually wide. Went up half size and wide width. Loosened all the shoestrings to slide my foot into shoe by holding tongue and heel strap. Went on with no problem. Feel heavier but that is normal with composite toe shoe. Off atm. Will update once I wear to work.

I have used keens before but this is the first time I use the composite toe, I have to say its pretty comfortable in the toe area, its roomy enough that you don’t feel the steel toe. Today is my third day using it at work and my feet did hurt a bit at my 3 hour mark of being on them, they are also kind of rubbing on the back of my right foot. First two days were good, today my feet hurt a little.

I’ve been wearing these for about a year and just replaced (or added) comfort inserts to them. The only thing is that they rubbed the crap out of the outer portion of my big toes… which I’m told could be alleviated by ordering half a size higher or ordering wide. Because the Keens have that wide toe bed I thought it would be ok… but next pair I will order up. Other than that, great shoes. I little hard to lace (or tighten) the way they come laced… but very comfortable. Best to wear socks that go up a bit your ankle, sports socks seem to slide down and the back rubs my ankle… so you might need to buy different socks as well.

I've gotten Keen shoes since starting at Amazon, and they are so comfortable that that pair is my everyday, go anywhere shoe. The composite toe is a negligible weight, and I've never found a more comfortable pair of shoes

I wasn't aware this was a slip on shoe, it wasn't easy to put this shoe on because the opening is small. Also, I have fat ankles and the small opening choked my foot a bit. I only worn the shoe twice because it was hard to break in. I also have slightly wide feet & got a med width since I own Keen hiking boots and thought sizing was similar but no. I only recommend for those with med feet & small ankles. The toe space might be too much for those with narrow feet.

Size 9 wide is small. I find that it is not true to its sizing and not wide enough. Also, it feels heavy.

I like these working shoes that have like a steel or aloy toe protection. I had good wiggle room by my toes. For being working shoes they feel great because my feet didn’t hurt by the steel tire protection. However, they are a bit heavier than walking shoes but I was surprised at how light they were for being steel or aloy toe protection.

The fit is perfect, well made, steady and comfortable shoes. FYI I’m a 9W.

I had to go one size up from typical Keen shoes. The shoe is heavy, as somewhat expected.

For a steel toe shoe they are surprisingly lightweight and have pretty good arch support style is also nice

I love Keen so when I needed a work shoe/boot, it was an easy choice. Definitely would buy again. My feet require a lot of arch support, and I needed to add an insert to get through my 15000+ step days, and that fit great in this shoe. I only wish they had more options in wide width work boots!

The fit and size was great. I added gel insoles for extra comfort.

The netting around the ankle rubs up against my ankle and caused irritation-needed to stretch it out. Overall, it’s great shoe. Extremely comfortable with great arch support.

They are little heavy but overall they are comfy.

Awesome look and apparent quality. Problem is the sock opening is too constricting for my upper foot and ankle- UGH. it has to be returned. So bummed out. It was also about 1.5 sizes too long

Nice-looking work shoe. I was worried about the fit, as I ordered a size 10 in another brand and they were way too big (on a side note, the return to Zappos was super easy). I went with a 9.5 in this Keen and they fit very well. I can understand some purchasers' concerns about the tight webbing you insert your foot into. If your socks are baggy at all it could cause your socks to bunch and it would be uncomfortable. But I haven't had any issues. Shoe stays in place and my heel doesn't slip. They are a bit heavier than a regular shoe but it is not very noticeable. And the shoes look nice enough to wear out in public. They seem well made, but only time will tell. I didn't invest in an insole, but not sure I need to. My shifts are typically 4-5 hours and I'm not walking the entire time. In all, a very comfortable work shoe.

These shoes were the most gorgeous blue color, so I really wanted them to work. Unfortunately, they were too wide in the heel, so my heel slipped while walking in them. I had to return them. If you have narrow feet, you'll probably find these too wide in the heel as well. Danner shoes seem to have a narrower heel.

The shoes are heavier and stiffer than I expected. I need to break them in and am sure they will last a long time..high quality heavy duty work shoes.
