I've been wearing Ugg boots for many years now. Gone through several pair. They usually last a couple years, give or take, until the insides become a little too gamey for comfort. Even with replacement insoles, the instep and surrounding areas become matted and discolored. But Ugg has a good solution to that issue. The boot sock is a relatively thin wool blend, loosely knitted sock. It's quite comfortable, even in the boot. It absorbs the moisture my feet produce, so the boot stays clean. It is an extra step in throwing my Uggs on, but after years of experience, I think it's worth it.

Pairs perfectly with my Ugg boots. Not thick but not thin either.

They were perfect height to wear underneath the tall boots

So warm and cozy! Doesn't itch at all. Fits nice with Ugg boots and slippers. Have washed and air dried several times and they still look great!
