I have a love-hate relationship with Keene shoes. I have had multiple pairs of them. A couple, I felt, wore out before they should have. I wanted some steel toed shoes for when I chainsaw around the yard—not a professional. My complaint is: the length of the attachment where the tongue attaches to the uppers appears to be mis-designed—by being too short. After lacing up the shoes, the tongue would pop out and be above the uppers. Which caused the uppers to rub the top of my foot where the shoelaces were tied. I could not get the tongue to stay underneath, which is normal for shoes. Could have been an issue with just this one shoe. Or could be a problem with this model. Either way, it made them feel uncomfortable.

While the size was correct, this shoe had some very uncomfortable pinch points and places on the upper foot where the tough fabric and stitching stuck into my skin. It was too painful to wear them, so they went back.

Ordered as work shoes for my husband. The steel toe rendered them too heavy, so had to return for carbon fiber toe. He loves Keen for work shoes. They hold up very well.

Purchased for work. 10-12 hours on concrete floor, walking 7-10 miles. I had to return it, due to get blisters on my big toes after couple of hours and stop using it right away. Had a extra pair, helped for the day. Well constructed and durable looking. Maybe good for different trades, like outdoor. I liked the shoes very much as look wise and wanted to keep it, but if it’s not comfortable then no use for me. I also started to have knee pain. All in all best of Zappos services, love to buy here not any where else. Thanks

Fit was fine, stylish looking safety shoe but who made the decision to design the the tongue of the shoe?? I hope all their shoe designs aren't like this. The corners of the tongue right at the top of that laces dig into the top of your foot enough to indent the skin. Horrible design. Unwearable, especially for a 10 hour work day.

Didn't work for me. After a few hours on my feet, the inside edge really rubbed the outside of my foot very uncomfortably. Not wide enough. Need triple width

I went online to figure out what size a woman would order in men shoe sizes. Your chart is to hard to understand. I ordered what the chart online said to. But the shoes were way to small. Can you make your chart easier to understand?

Uncomfortable due to the Tongue of the shoe. The tongue has groves on the edges that dig into the tops of my feet. I didn't even have to tie my shoes and I could feel the groves. Very poor design Choice. Style was nice, but comfort needs to be priority.

They are too big in length and wide. Also they are way too heavy.
