These would have been great if they allowed for a wider variety of toe profiles. My third toe on one foot is longer than my big toe, and it hit the edge of this sandal. Otherwise the size was perfect.

First time to try this style. It’s lovely. Feminine and sweet. Really into dark blue right now. The one I ordered was like a navy blue. I ordered a 38, which fits great. I have a little space in front of toe and behind heel. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5 in casual shoes.

These were really cute! I ordered the blue and tobacco to try out the regular and narrow widths. I loved both colors. Regular worked better for me in my typical Birkenstock size, which is a 37 and I wear a US size 7-7.5. However, I felt like the double straps and double buckles around the toe box area added a lot of bulk and emphasized the widest part of my foot. Reluctantly sent them back. I chose the Mayari style instead because it has a slimmer profile and fewer straps.

Normally Birkenstocks are too wide for my low volume feet, but these were perfect in the Narrow size. What wasn't perfect was the toe bar which was too high and uncomfortable. Disappointed, because these met every other point.

I originally ordered a 38, I'm a size 7/7.5 US. It was too big. My toes did not sit on toe ridge at all. I switched to the 37 and they fit perfectly. Very stiff at first but quickly softens.The metatarsal arch pad takes some getting used to. I've only worn them once since I just got them but I plan to wear every day this week.

These are nice looking, but run large. Will return and a smaller size. The blue color is great and will go with everything!

Couldn't walk in it felt very uncomfortable.

These are HUGE compared to my other pairs of Birkenstocks. I loved the color and style but sadly have to return them.

I was really disappointed when I tried these on. They just did not fit like I expected, having owned many pairs over the years. I have a pair of Birkenstock clogs that are ten years old, and when I measured the soles of them against these, these are about 1/4” narrower than they are. They are beautiful, but they aren’t wide enough for me.

I had forgotten how big Birkenstocks run. These will have to go back.

I have worn Birkenstocks for years and for some reason lately they just don't fit. Not sure if sizes are a tiny bit larger then before or the leather is of less quality.

I returned these and bought another pair of Mayari, this time in black. The Franca style was very cute, but it didn’t have the support that the Mayari has, especially since it lacks the toe loop. These kept feeling like I was going to walk out of them. I have a narrow foot and had to use the last holes to make them feel secure. Much prefer my Mayari style, which are comfy right out of the box!

My experience with Birkenstock’s is that regular width is actually wide and narrow width is regular width. If I cinched these down to the smallest buckle setting, I could make them fit. But the other thing about Birkenstock’s is that the leather is inexplicable heavy and harsh. They have been returned. But the oiled red color is really pretty.

Felt smaller than regular size 39. The strap closest to you leg did it lay properly and actually cut into my skin.

I ordered the Birkenstock Franca in 37N, which is the size I always wear in Birkenstocks, but the shoes were too narrow and made my feet look unnaturally wide. I had really been looking forward to receiving them because the cross straps across the toes looked so cute, and the local shops were all out of my size.

The shoe is nicely styled, fit well and looked good on. Only problem was the color was not as it looked online. I even sent the first pair back because the color wasn’t what it looked like online. It is described as “oiled” leather but it looked like regular leather. Online it looked nicely aged but in person? Very disappointing. Sent the second pair back as well.

They're my first pair of Birkenstocks and I really wanted to love them. They're adorable. But they feel a little big. And even though you can "technically" adjust the straps, if i make them even one hole tighter, the strap ends will hit the ground. The support beneath the toes is so high it's physically painful. I'm super bummed.

I love these, but they turn my feet blue. If I wear them for a few hours when I take them off it looks like I still have them on from the blue bleeding onto my feet. You can't see the blue when you have them on so it doesn't usually effect me, but one time I didn't think about it and needed to dress up and change shoes. Well you can guess how awesome my feet looked even after I scrubbed them.

I do not mind the overall look and feel. Unfortunately I have a tailor bunion on my right foot and it hits the side of the sole where it curves upward. Sadly sending it back.

I followed Zappos recommended sizing and ordered two pairs in size 39 (US Women's 8-8.5) in a narrow and a wide width and the shoes were too small in length. My third toes were catching on the raised edge of the footbed. Also, the wide width pair were too wide (not sure why I ordered them, I never wear wide shoes.) I tried size 40 (US Women's 9-9.5) narrow at another retailer and they fit perfect. Sizing aside, the sandals seem comfortable when I tried them on but overall I didn't love this style, the Franca, in real life. My sizing in all other shoes: 9 regular width (my feet measure 10" long).

These felt more narrow than my Mayari ones. I like my Birkenstocks with breathing room, this felt too narrow.

This is about the 5th or 6th pair of Birkenstocks I've had--and my first impression is that the buckles (6 altogether) are flimsy and difficult to adjust. Now that I've tried 4 different ways to buckle them, am hoping that these sandals will live up to the Birkenstock reputation.

The style was super cute however the (tobacco color) leather was really thick and stiff. They would have had a long and uncomfortable break in period. My daughter chose to return them.

BIrkenstock needs to make 9.5, 10, 10.5, 11... we are out here! We have money to spend! I have very flat feet. Larger length feet does not mean high instep. 10.5 in these would’ve been great! I bought these because they’re truly adjustable, not a Velcro strap I can’t punch a new hole in to get snug fit. I mostly wear tennies so I can lace up. Chacos even stretched out and couldn’t stay snug!
