I’ve been looking for a sandal just like this for a few years and Eureka! I’ve found it! I love the Birkenstock support, the higher heel/wedge (Papillio) and so excited to have this sandal! The 42 is a good fit - I was a little skeptical about size as I was once measured as a 43 for Birks but when you’re an 11-11.5 and a shoe runs small, it’s hard to find things that fit well and comfortably! So glad the 42 worked, cant wait to wear them out! Thanks, Zappos!

This is such a cute on trend sandal I wish I could keep it! I wear a 10N and I was so glad to find a narrow sandal but it is too wide for me. I am returning it.

I'm finding this shoe surprisingly comfortable. I wouldn't want to walk long distances wearing this shoe but overall it works well with day to day activities. Pros: soft leather straps, no break-in needed, my foot feels secure in it, it looks good with jeans, shorts, skirts, and it makes me taller lol! Cons: footbed is HARD!

These are very cute shoes but they are too wide for my narrow foot. The side leather piece buckled and looked sloppy.

I own many Birkenstock flat sandals (probably 9 pairs in my lifetime) but had not tried a wedge before. I felt that the footbed was very comfortable but the spot where the straps crossed my arch was uncomfortable. I also was not able to tighten the heel strap enough to feel stable. I found a different Birk wedge style that worked better for me.

It's such a challenge to find cute and comfortable shoes for feet with large bunions, but these fit that description! They are comfortable, cover the bunions, and avoid looking like "comfort" shoes. I'm very happy with these!

Got my usual Birckenstock size, but these are slightly on the small side. However the main issue is that the front of the strap hits at an angle and has a rough edge, so that it cuts right into the top of my big toe. Going to try next size up to see if that allows for more space around that opening. However otherwise i would probably keep this size and style, as there is no other dark brown heeled style. I'm not sure i understand with what purpose the straps are so snug in that spot. Not like it's keeping the shoe on the foot. Maybe to save on the costs of extra leather, but that's a strange compromise on a great quality made shoe like this. Wonder how many people will return it just because of that. Will see how the next size fits and if it's great i'll return to give it a full five stars

I love the way these look. Can be dressed up or down. The leather is nice and strong. Just a great casual or slightly dressy shoe. Could be worn with a lot of outfits.

I ordered these in narrow in both black and brown. The brown was loose on the right foot. So I’m ordering another to see if it’s a little narrower in the toe area. The blacks were fine but the right foot brown felt a little loose and I figured they’d stretch and was a little bit worried. So tomorrow the other pair should be here and I’ll see how they compare. I’m normally regular width but started going narrow on Birkenstock and like the fit better. Very cute, well made shoe. Quality leather.

Love this sandal! So comfortable. I do have a wider foot and this shoe fit perfectly right out of the box so may have a slightly wider fit.

These are a cuter, dressier approach to old school Birks. They were immediately comfortable and looked nice with a sun dress, especially with the wedged heal. I really like them. They'll be my go-to sandal for the summer.

These were great right out of the box. I wore them to work had to walk a few blocks and they felt great all day.

straps are too long to hold a narrow foot properly even though it is marked N width

Loved the sandals. My normal Birkenstock fit and size were good. Unfortunately, when I tried them on after they arrived one of the sandals wouldn't stay buckled and the strap would come loose after I took two steps. It was because the prong was too short and kept slipping out of the hole in the strap that it fits into. I wanted to exchange them but they were out of stock.

Shoes came but worn toe marks from previous wearer and back of heel scuffed up and slight worn down. Also bus they don’t seem to come to have them in sizes smaller than 36 but feels like it could be comfortable. Hard to tell way too big
