These are VERY comfortable! At $140 I waited a few weeks to pull the trigger, but Birkenstock hasn't failed me yet. I love these sandals and plan to buy them in black soon. Having a narrow foot (9N, I always buy 39 in Birkenstock) I did have to mentally adjust to the fact that the straps don't have to be tight. Like my other Birkies, my foot stays in place - even though these are not a flat sandal. Oh, and the cushioning is absolutely dreamy. I wore them all day long right out of the box.

Love these shoes! Will need to be worn in a bit as the front strap did cut into my foot a bit after wearing them a while. But other than that great right out of the box!

The size was perfect but my feet are still a little too wide to be wearing narrows. I tried these because of the previous reviews that they were wide(r). I’ve been wearing flat birks way too long to switch to a heel with a narrow toe. But the style is very feminine for Birkenstock which I liked a lot.

Great alternative when I need something slightly dressier than the Birkenstock Gizeh which I live in all summer. In the Gizeh, I wear a 41 regular. In this shoe I had to size down to a 40 for the footbed to fit properly under my arch. The width is fine for me. Pretty comfortable for an ankle strap, and the sole “walks well.” My only complaint is the sharp edges on the leather straps. I will be spending some time wearing these at home to break them In and make sure they don’t cause blisters.

I can never seem to find nice sandals that both look good and don’t hurt my feet. It’s either one or the other. But these Birkenstocks may be different, they’re very cute and comfortable! The sizing was perfect and the support is typical Birkenstock quality.

I LOVE this shoe! I normally wear a 37 in Birk sandals, but I did go up to a 38 in these. My toes almost hung over the edge in the 37. I do have a wide foot, so that could be a part of it. They are extremely comfortable, and I love the fact that they have true buckles and not velcro. I have both the cognac and black, and they are beautiful. I may change out the gold buckles on the cognac sandal, but that's it. My feet are funky from running and wearing Birks all of the time, so while I wanted some wedges, it was hard to find anything with support until now.

Very comfortable, seems to run big so I will reorder in a smaller size. Buckle seems bulky, hence four stars.

Bought my usual size in Birkenstock’s and these fit great. Super comfortable. Bought them for work and they have been comfortable all day.

Fit was great! Shoes are so cute. These shoes are exactly what I was looking for. As a Birkenstock loyalist, I’m very pleased.

Fit was good. Love the look. On my feet 10 hrs per day. No problems my feet are happy. Molding to your foot comes in time which I’m aware of . Love my Birkenstock’s. Thank you Zappos??????

These are lovely and feel great as you would expect from Birkenstock. I would give 5 stars overall, but the ankle strap is super short and likely only works on pencil thin ankles. I almost can’t get the end of the strap all the way through the buckle.

Cute and comfy, EXCEPT the hideous gold buckles. I thought I could live with them, but they look so cheap, like kids play jewelry. I re-ordered in black (with a black buckle).

These shoes are really cute and were pretty comfortable for wearing all day! I'm in between sizes 39 and 40 so I wish they had half-sizes. After trying both, I opted to keep the larger size, although I have the smaller size in the Birkenstock Madrid.

I love these wedges, but this leather is too stiff for me. I have these in the cognac and I wore them on an outing so I will keep. The leather straps rubbed my feet.

the Paillios were exactly what I wanted, only at least a half size too big. I though I would send them back. But now I want to keep them. If I tighted the strape on my ankle, they will work.

I ordered one size down because of the reviews I read. The smaller size was too small. I don't think this style of Birk runs differently than any other Birk. Order whatever size you normally wear. Otherwise, they are great shoes and feel just like other Birkenstocks.

The shoes fit perfectly on my narrow feet. However, I'm giving four stars instead of five because the leather under the buckle in my forefoot was really rough and cutting into my feet. I put some padded moleskin on that part of the leather strap, and now they are very comfortable. I stood at a concert for hours in them last night and was very comfortable. Love the height! Hard to find in a nice looking sandal that can be casual or worn with skirts/dresses!

I really enjoyed the styling and support of these wedges. The only reason I did not keep them is because the height exceeds the measurement in the description. They’re listed as under 2”, but I think that doesn’t take into account the wedge and footbed, which is about 2 1/2” total. Higher than I wanted for an everyday sandal, but a seemed like a great shoe otherwise.

I love that these have actual buckles for width adjustment. However, the leather is a little stiff yet. I could use smaller increments of size adjustment in the toe area, but like the feel of these otherwise.
