These shoes are great for walking around town. They are stylish and lightweight. I am suffering from heel pain and the shoe is just big enough to allow me to put in my extra supportive insole as well.

I loved the look of this shoe with many different outfits. It does fit a bit tight across the top of the foot but it does stretch out some and becomes more comfortable.

These are a little tight but I am sure they will loosen up over time. Ordered the natural color.

Very comfortable slip-ons with good internal support. It's become my "go to" summer shoe if I don't feel like wearing sandals or sneakers. The canvas does seem to attract dirt. I'm hoping that a sneaker cleaner will take care of the surface dirt that has accumulated. My fussy feet are happy.

I read a number of reviews that said to purchase one half size smaller and I am glad I did not. I ordered my usual size and it fits just as perfectly as have all the other Merrell's I have owned. Very lightweight, and a good deal of the material is recycled which I appreciate and look for in a shoe when not buying leather. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is that the insole has a slightly rough texture. I generally do not like to wear socks, even the "invisible" type so if you do this will not be an issue. I bought the shoes to wear walking the dog (they can get pretty dirty at times) and am thinking of getting a second pair for general wear.

I wanted a summer shoe that was easy to slip on and off. I wear orthotics, so I need something closed. I was afraid the heel would be too big and my foot would pull out of it. But a medium, even without a narrow heal, fits fine. I can walk without my heel pulling out of the shoe. Have had compliments on it already.

I took the sizing advice listed and ordered a half size up and my order fit perfectly. The only problem I have is the top fabric has absolutely no give to it so it cuts in to the top of my foot. Not sure if it's because I have a high arch or what. I feel like my issue may be solved if I get a style that ties instead of a slide on. The rest of the shoe is like walking on a cloud!

Shoe feels great, right out of the box. I was worried the canvas might be stiff till broken in, but not so. My only disappointment is the color. Loved the Trooper color online, which looked to be a lovely light blue denim sort of color, which would be great for summer. In reality, the color is much darker and more of a blue/green/gray color. It's not unattractive, just not like the photos. I will be keeping them, as they feel great, and that's not easy for me to accomplish. Just wish the color had been more accurate.

The Women's Gridway Moc Canvas is a nice three season shoe. The trooper color is exactly as pictured and the fit seemed true to size for me. The shoe doesn't seem to be very breathable, but that's expected with this material.

Just wish they were a little wider

I am ordering a 1/2 size smaller and trying them to see how they fit. I feel the shoe runs a little bit big. Then returning the one that doesn't work. However, if I put insoles in they may be fine. This shoe is so comfy and cute. I think I may order another color after I get the right size!

good quality but a little wide (for narrow foot). Worn mostly around the house

The shoe felt stiff and the footbed was as comfortable as I had hoped. A bit too tight over the top of the foot as well. I have already returned them.

I purchased these in an 8.5, my usual Merrell size for running shoes and fall boots, but they are FAR too large. I'm not sure that going a half-size down would help, as even in medium width they are very wide both within the shoe (toe box to heel) and at the opening. I can't walk in them without them falling off my feet. I purchased the gridway sneakers in 8.5 at the same time (those fit great!) and the soles match up perfectly in width, so it's the uppers of the canvas moc that are the problem for me. It's too bad because I LOVE the blue Trooper color and the renewable aspect of this shoe, the style just doesn't work.

They look great but feel a little tight over the top of my foot. I couldn't wear them all day. Only in short spurts.

Really cute shoe, but could barely squeeze my feet into the shoe, and it was too tight overall. Don't think the canvas will breath well in the summer. Beautiful color and great idea....I usually love Merrell, and the design is really cute, but just not for me!

I loved these in black so much I purchased the cream. They are NOT the same. The black fabric is soft but the cream is so scratchy I cannot wear without a rash on the top of my feet. I have put moleskin and a kleenex for extra pad, and tried to stretch them out wearing with socks, but nope -cream color still gives rash? I know I have sensitive skin, but that is just me. The black worked fine.

Super cute shoe and the fit was perfect except they were really tight across the top of my foot. So right that I was in pain and had a bad red mark when I got them off. If I can't figure something out I won't be wearing them again. Bummers!

More narrow than medium in width. The tongue cut into the top of my foot. I wear Merrill mocs almost exclusively-- they are so comfortable. But these were poorly made and ill-fitting.

Top of the arch is very tight. The canvas has no give or stretch in spite of elastic wedge pieces which do not stretch much. I cut out the elastic on both sides to make a little more comfortable. I like the air flow through the canvas but the arch cuts off circulation. The toe box was loose and the heel fit, so I did get the right size.

Not happy with this shoe. Loose fitting across the top and arch support felt higher in left shoe then the right. Sorry to say I will be returning them.
