another great Sanuk flip flop! Hopefully this pair lasts as long as my last pair which are now on year # 3, although starting to look a little ragged! although i wish they offered 1/2 sizes

I liked the look and feel of the sandal and decided to buy a 2nd pair for the price. I pre-read the other reviews that said the sizing was a little big, so I went down to a 9 from my normal 9.5-10 and they fit perfect.

I purchased this pair of flip flops because they appeared to be the most similar as ones I bought on Maui years ago. They are mostly similar (weight, comfort & feel) to my other flip flops that I took on several surf trips. The only knocks I’d give them is that are a little long for the toes and the string between the toes is a little long, so the strap is a little loose (may be my feet are skinny). Also, I purchased a pair of hemp Sanuk shoes in a size 10 (fit perfect) like several that I’ve purchased before from Sanuk. Their flip flops seem to run a size smaller and I ordered a size 9 for the flip flops the same day and fit pretty well (except noted above), so go for one size smaller if you decide to by these flip flops.

Bought these specifically to wear outside during wet weather as I live in a rainy area. But they started to smell and then broke at the thong after only a few months. Other flips I've had have done much better.

These sandals are a trip (no pun intended). I was stoked to get them cuz between my wife and I we have about 10 pairs of sanuks and was looking forward to a waterproof sandal from them. Well I ordered my normal size of 10 and they were huge, looked like a size 12-13. So I reordered in a 9 and they were still to loose and would fly off my feet, but I really wanted to like these so I bit the bullet and got myself an 8. The 8 fit exact, unfortunately a little to exact with no wiggle room and I just could not grasp the fact I'm wearing an 8 when I'm normally a 10. Not sure what the sizing issue is with these, but they have sooo much potential being waterproof and having a very comfortable footbed. Maybe I'll wait a month or so and try another 9 to see if they fit better then. Dang it Sanuk I really wanted these to work!
