If you are hesitant about spending this much on a pair of running shorts, don't be. These are excellent. Very light-weight, breathable, and they fit great.

I know the pockets aren't designed to hold much but couldn't even really hold my keys while I was jogging... other than that very pleased

The pockets take some getting used to. The back pocket will hold an iPhone 10 (no cover), but then you have an iPhone flapping around back there. Not sure there's a fix for that, except to get a watch that plays music. Overall, very happy.

Very comfortable shorts for running as well as walking

The Impact running short meets all my needs. Lightweight, comfortable, and plenty of pockets for keys, fuel, and anything else I might need while running. I especially liked how the virtual sky color pops in person. Only downside was when the shorts got wet. In the back they seemed to hug tighter than some of my other running shorts.

These are the best running shorts I have worn. They are light and comfortable and the drawstring keeps them tight . Makes me want to run twice a day :)

Recently purchased a few pairs of these shorts. I am very pleased with the light weight, length and functionality of them. Light weight is a plus in hot weather and they don't cling to you when wet. They have several pockets for keys and energy gels. And, they are very comfortable with the stretchy waist.

These shorts fit to size. I don't like running shorts with front pockets and it's hard to find quality shorts without them. Even with a long inseam these show no signs of wear in the crotch after 100 plus miles. I don't normally write reviews but these shorts were so impressive that I wanted to wanted to thank NB.

I bought these shorts based on the reviews and wasn’t let down. Super nice shorts, not too tight, not too loose, very comfy, and perfect length. I use them to go to the gym and walk / run. I don’t get the storage spaces but I don’t use them anyway.

I've purchased other 7 inch shorts from New Balance. I like how they fit, the texture, and the different styles that are offered. This is a quality short which I primarily use for running, but could also be used for going to the gym. I would buy additional pairs of the New Balance 7 inch shorts in the future.

What I like most is that is fasts dry and the comfort of it.

These are very comfortable and fit true to size. The interior short is a nice addition, and the minimalist pockets come in handy for cards/id, snack, etc.

Love that I don’t have to wear underwear or compression shorts underneath.

I decided to go with this NB product after testing my first pair. Three pockets provides additional comfort to already excellent product. Back zip pocket fits iphone se2, two adjacent pockets can give home other items. Breathable liner fabric. Reflecting triangles on each side are conveniently positioned for safer runs in dark. Perhaps, adding more colors may really expand choices.

this short is focused on running and doing certain exercises and I like that. stretchy and comfortable and fits well. Has secure pockets in the back that don't get in your way. I always remove the liner if there is one in shorts, but that's not a huge deal.

These things are way more than I expected. They have built-in "compression" shorts that fit incredibly well. Ran 9 miles in them and had zero issues with sweat. Well worth the investment.
