Customer Reviews Crocs Monterey Diamante Wedge Flip

I have worn the Sloane diamante style flip flops for several years, but they are no longer available. These are very similar, but not as comfortable, at least so far, it's day 1. I bought the same size, but they are shorter, and narrower. The piece between the toes seems shorter, and less comfortable too. I'm hoping they feel better and loosen up a little over time.

These are a replacement of similar ones from Crocs a few years ago. Unfortunately, they have changed the style a bit, and I had to return and order one size up. My other pair were my most comfortable shoes I owned until they finally broke after a couple of years of heavy wear. These, the thong is hurting me, (why do they put ridges along that little peice that goes between your toes???) and the bumps and ridges on the sole are not really in the right place as they were before. I'm hoping I can get used to the thong. But I pine for my old version of these shoes!!! I have plantar fasciitis and need good support. I also like Birkenstocks, but need to look like an adult someties, and not an aging hippie.

I am pregnant and somewhat swollen, so I ordered a full size up, and the sandals still didn't fit. I ordered another brand of sandals in the same way, and those fit perfectly, so I feel like the sizing is just off on these.

Crocs are my go-to summer flip flops. I love the support and comfort, but these just did not work for me. The triangle part on top of the shoe cut into my 2nd toe. I have never had this problem with Crocs before. Also, I was disappointed in the style of the decoration on the sandal. In the picture, it looked almost beaded. However, in person, the effect was much more matte.
