My husband walked a full mile around the neighborhood in these flip flops right out the box. He prefers to wear steel toe boots all year, but Crocs convinced him that sandals can be comfortable too.

My husband wouldn't be caught dead in Crocs, but he needs supportive comfortable shoes so I thought I'd see if I could sneak some in for him. He loves flip flops. He did NOT like the Athens flips - he said it felt like he had wedge/heels on. They are bulky and elevated in back. These are pretty flat and look like regular flip flops. They aren't super cushy like classic Crocs clogs, but when walking in them (I tried them out) there is some squish to the parts under my heel and foot. Not over the top but definitely more shock absorbent than regular flips. They're also not heavy. When flips are heavy they wear very strangely and don't move as easily with each step. These don't do that. Score, these are perfect.
