I bought the Fresh Foam roav. Love the way they look and they are extremely comfortable but, I bought the black/grey and just over 2 months I started to get a hole in both shoes right where the tip of your big toe is. This is the mesh part. Very very disappointed . I have 2 others who I know with this same issue. If this problem was fixed it would be the best shoe ever but extremely disappointed especially since they cost around $80

This my 4th pair of the foam roav they have been my go to for sometime. I was excited to get this new pair and was surprised I could barely get them on. Ordered my usual 6 1/2 and they fit more like a 5 1/2- it was almost like they were designed to wear without a sock they were so tight.

Too tight even though I ordered a wide. Had to give to my mom because I didn't want to go through return process during the holidays.

The changes made across the instep that ties the tongue to the shoe side makes it very difficult to slip on. Won't buy this particular shoe again

I wanted to like these NB but the show was too short, with a tiny thin sock my toes were just about touching the front of the sneaker. There didn't feel like much cushion and support and sadly returned. Fit reference I have a thin foot and ankle area very thin, wear 7.5 but usually sizes up to an 8, and this was an 8 that I returned.

Liked the look until I tried them on. runs small sent them back

I have been a size 9 in this shoe before and is other NB shoes. The pair I received is too small and tight. This shoe fits different than the pair of Roav's I have now so I am returning them.

I WEAR SIZE 9.5 & of course ordered 9.5 and have never had a pair of shoes not fit. These run very small, now I have to pay to return for buying my normal size. Not Right!!!

Bought these thinking they were Fresh Foam x860s. So disappointed to learn they have been discontinued. I have arthritis in my foot & those were by far the most comfortable shoes!

Ordered the same size I always do and this pair was too small. Sizing is inconsistent..

My first pair of NB's that I had to send back. Says they are wide but they are very tight.

The fabric over the tongue of the shoe, under the laces, doesn't stretch. After I struggle and get it on, it feels wonderful. Like other New Balance shoes I've gotten, it's comfortable all day. It's just hard to put on.

I got these shoes almost a year ago and I loved their look. But last week I was tying my shoe and the ring of fabric that holds the lace ripped out. Now the shoes are worthless. It's a poor design.

I am disappointed with the shoes, they are not very supportive, I can't even wear they a whole day at work because they make my feet, legs and hips

I wanted to like these shoes. I love the way they look but they are narrow and the sole is very hard. They also hurt my heel for some reason. I had to return them.

I ordered a pair of shoes they were too small so I sent them back and ordered the next size up got the in two days but it's been over two weeks since I have been refunded for the first pair that I sent back the same day they arrived.

Not suitable for my foot. I am a long time NB wearer.

These fit small and the sole is ramped in a way that puts a lot of pressure on the inner foot.

Ordered a wide fit but felt tighter than expected on my feet. Also one shoe was warped. Sitting on the floor, one side of the heel would not touch the floor. Don't plan on trying new balance for my next shoes.

I love these sneakers and they are my 2nd pair. This pair however, fit differently. I bought the same size I already have and they are way too small and uncomfortable. Cant return though as I already wore them. Disappointed.

The shoe is very comfortable. I wear 8 1/2 and purchased 8.5 (8 1/2). Shoe DOES NOT RUN SMALL the issue is the tongue of the shoe (part that laces go across) is a solid piece, attached to the left and right of the shoe so the tongue can not be lifted like with most sneakers. This is what makes the shoe seem to run small. The shoe fits my feet, but getting the shoe on ( I have a high instep) was too difficult for me. I GAVE A 2 STAR RATING because New Balance, a well established brand, should have mentioned that the tongue of the shoe is one solid piece in the description. I SAID RUNS SMALL IN HOPES THAT THIS REIVEW WILL BE READ. I didn't see anyone mention in their low star rating about the tongue which is why the shoe seems to run small. Hope this helps. It can be difficult to give an accurate review, so I've tried to explained as best I can.

...the quality diminishes. It could be a function of price point, but the difference of $20 should not result in an inferior product - should it? I put shoes to work, 100K a week easy. The liners on the latest pair fell apart within a week and I had to purchase Dr. Scholl's insoles to make them workable. The pair before that wore out within 40 days. I generally buy a new pair every 2-3 months. The first pair of New Balance I purchased was night and day compared to what I used to wear (Nike) and I was a convert. Love the casual NB with 7 pairs, but you have me reconsidering for athletic needs.

I previously wore these shoes and loved them! So when it came time to get new shoes I wanted another pair! My new pair is oddly tight in the front around the toes. It's weird haha the other shoes fits great though!!

I usually wear an 8 w in New Balance. These sneakers are much to small for me. I will be returning them.
