I've been wearing Merrell barefoot style sneakers for years and love them. However, I needed a shoe that would accommodate my orthotic inserts and had a little more cushioning. These are perfect! They felt great right out of the box. I just walked over 4 miles and not only do my feet feel good, my legs felt good while I was walking. And just as with my old Merrells, I don't need to wear socks. Love these!

Feels just like my old Sirens, but with all the tread and support (since I've worn through my old ones). Wish these had some in the black/purple colorway in my size, but I guess I'll get use to the blue/grey this year.

Fit was good. Just not enough cushion in forefoot area. Very solid insole.

The shoes fit well but do not seem to have enough cushion in the sole.

I bought both the medium and wide widths of the Merrell Siren Edge 3. I have long toes and my small toe on my left foot always pressed against the side of most shoes. The medium was too narrow and the wide was too large. I am still hunting for the perfect hiking shoes. I also have narrow heels so that is a factor.

These shoes were a disappointment. Looking for a pair to replace some lightweight Merrell trail shoes I have had for over ten years. These have decent arch support for my really high arches, but are actually too hard. There isn't enough recovery in the cushion to make them as comfortable as I would like for walking. As well, I was hoping for a shoe that would double as a casual shoe out and about, but the amount of plastic on the sides just isn't working for me.

I love Merrell shoes for walking and day hiking. I've tried several different styles over the past 15 years and these were my first Siren Edge 3's. Perfect at first--great fit, immediately comfortable. However, after about 3 months of near-daily wear, my little toe began to wear through the mesh fabric exterior. The Siren Edge 3's may be great if you only plan to wear them for occasional walks and hikes, but not so great for your everyday shoe.

Merrell is my go-to shoe for my problem feet. I was happy to find these shoes that look a bit more like athletic shoes. Structurally the shoe is terrific; if it were just a bit wider in the forefoot I would give it a very strong 5 star, but so far it is not as comfortable as my Moab's - seems to be cut less wide for the arthritic, painful feet.

Comfortable. Definitely more of a hiking shoe - not the squooshy feel of a running shoe. Firm sole, good arch, ample toe box. Have only worn on short walk on street. So far, I like them.

Super cute, my sister ordered the same pair. Fit well, and are great for walking around all day.

Loved the original Sirens and bought several pairs. The Q3 look great but there are changes (e.g., longer tonge) that are just not as comfortable. Returned these.

First off, I do like the color of the shoes. I also like that they are light weight and good for travel. I ordered a 9 1/2 wide. The length was fine but I felt that it was narrow in the toe box even in a wide. My foot is wide in the toes and narrow in the heel. The heel fit fine.

It was a cute one but has no arch support. I tried it on inside my place and just walking around. I felt like I was walking on a brick. And I know that my feet would kill me for sure.

I love these shoes! The only reason I gave them a 4 star is that they squeak when I walk. Started from the very beginning...

Comfortable shoe! It lacks the arch support I was hoping for.

I wear a size 8 wide. I go to 8.5 wide with winter socks. An old pair of merrells hiking I still wear and are comfortable. These are a little stiff and too narrow for my wide feet. Retuned. They were cute though!

Loved them until I walked 3 miles in them. The insoles are so thin my feet hurt after walking for an hour. Not what I expect from Merrill’s. I did like the width though.

I was dissatisfied with my Merrell Siren Edge 3. So happy with this style in the waterproof, I decided to get the same thing just not waterproof. The arch in both shoes were too far back towards the heels. Also the right shoe was bigger than the left, had to really do laces to make it fit.

I found this hiking shoe to run about 1/2 size small and extremely narrow. I normally wear size 81/2 and medium width. After reading reviews I ordered a size 9 and 91/2. The 9 would have worked for length but both pair proved to be to narrow for me. These hikers did provide a slight arch and were light in weight. If they had been a bit wider I probably would have kept the size 9.

Felt like they were flat. I need arch support. Loved the style and overall comfortable.

The fit was fine, the arch was OK, the width was great...The problem I had was with the left shoe. It slants to the right - does not sit level

Nice looking hiking shoe. This shoe runs narrow and the wide size is still narrower than many hiking shoes.

The size for my workout shoes was normal. I wear a 9 in all but workout and the normal size 10 is great and not overly roomy for toe swimming. Laces stay tied which is more than I can say for my recent pair of On Running. The Merrell look great and don't make my feet look enormous; however, I should have listened to reviewers...support and comfort are wanting GREATLY. Inside sole is hard tho looks like it contains some support. First I'mI added a small arch support a podiatrist recommended which helped then ALSO added a full foot cushion support. My feet hurt after hours of wearing, which is disappointing to say the least. I am hard on my feet yet these would not be a repurchase for me no matter how cute they look.
