These shoes are very comfortable from the first. I wear these for hiking and have no issues.

I hike red rock in Las Vegas, Nevada every weekend ( even in the summer). By far this has been the most comfortable, and best tread for combination hiking & scrambling. The only issue I had was some tearing on the sides from cacti catching it.

I typically wear a size 9.5-10. I ordered a 10 and it fits perfect. I love the design, it’s very eye catching. Not much break-in time needed. Sole feel hard when walking, not the typical sneaker feel but I think it helps my posture when walking. I have very high arches and this shoe is by far the best shoes I’ve found period when it comes to arch support. Could be a little more cushion in the shoe, but overall a great shoe.

I have a bunion and my Merrill's are one of the few tennis shoes that allow steep trail hiking with out slipping in loose gravel.

I use these shoes for light hiking and walking. The traction is good. I was worried at first that there wasn't enough padding, but it worked out fine and they are very comfortable. I don't even need to put my orthotic in there that I usually use--they are fine as they came. I got them in the Aluminum color, and the only thing I don't care for is that the light-colored toe guard reminds me a little of golf or bowling shoes. But that is also a nice neutral color.

Great comfy shoe, only downfall is that if the floor is wet or has been just washed, they are very slippery. I work in a hospital, & wow, a lot of close calls

Love the fit and comfort of this shoe -- however noticed OMG they are slippery on wet surfaces-- anyone else experience same. As a person who has pins and wires in my leg from a previous fall, I am concerned and sadly probably will return them....

I take a "standard" size 9 Medium width. This fit like a glove! Nice toe box and the heal area was delightfully snug as my heal never slid up when walking. However I require additional arch support in the way of orthotic insoles. I really can't comment regarding the built-in arch support. Sadly, I returned the shoes because when I used my orthotics support within the shoe did it was not a comfortable fit. They felt awkward. Pity as they are very stylish without making my feet look overly large. In conclusion, if you require additional arch support, this shoe may not be for you.

They fit well. Comfortable. I wish the arch was a wee bit higher, but fine. Great for moderate hiking on warm days!

I wore these hiking shoes for an extremely long hike (6hrs). They were very comfortable almost the entire time. By the end of the hike I felt like my toe was beginning to rub on the front of the shoe. Also the leather around the toe scratched off both shoes. Not sure if the hike was too aggressive for this type of shoe.

These shoes are cute, more of a trail running shoe than a hiker, I would say. They were too narrow on my foot and I have a medium width. Don't usually have problems with shoes being too narrow. Had to return them.

The siren edge 3 is a very good looking athletic shoes. Even though I bought a women’s size 8.5 wide (I usually wear a 8 medium), I felt the shoe was still a bit tight on the sides of my big and small toes.

Overall a good shoe, almost a good fit, just felt a touch short for the socks I wear, and I felt it was too much shoe for a simple walking shoe for me. Merrell usually a good bet.

Ordered these to replace a pair of Merrell's I have had for about ten years. As that style is no longer made, was hoping these would have the same great arch support as my others. Unfortunately not. These do have removable insoles, but as I wasn't crazy about the overall appearance of the shoes, I don't think it is worth it. I can't put my finger on why these look kind of cheap, they just do. Kind of like they can't decide if they want to be a hiking shoe or a running shoe.

The width is my only concern. I ordered wide but the shoe still fits narrow. I also used my own inserts and suggest if you do, order half size larger. Love the style and color options.

Adds spring to my step and support and comfort for these aging feet. However, presses down on my toes a little. Just enough to make me worry but never so much that my feet or toes ache afterward. I’ve never had that problem before. I have so much trouble finding comfortable shoes for my large size and arch support needs, even though I put in my own insoles. These do provide extra protection from uneven terrain so they’re my forest shoes.
