These are my go to travel shoes. This is approximately my 6th pair of these. They fit my feet perfectly and I use them to walk cities and to hike. Ive gotten waterproof and regular. Waterproof can get hot but are super handy in wet or muddy situations. Love these shoes.

These fit great right out of the box did not need to break them in. But color is nowhere near what is advertised on the website

I like the look but they are very hard
Shoes. Feel stiff while I'm walking but in the end my feet don't hurt and not later on which was the issue I was having. .
They do run small. I'm usually a 7 or 7.1/2
Ordered the larger size and wish I would have done 8s. These shoes are almost an inch shorter that my Avia the same size

I have worn Merrells for decades, always the same size 7.5. Siren Edge Sports are my favorite hiking shoe. However, my recent order of size 7.5 is definitely too short in the toe box and narrower in that area as well. Over the years, the footbed has changed as well, harder than before so a bit less comfortable. I have posted a photo of the Siren Edge 3 next to a Silverstone on my foot. Same size 7.5. You can easily see the differences in to box. I have thin, low volume, very flexible feet with low arch. The Merrell footbed is the only hiking shoe that actually conforms to my feet. I returned the 7.5 and have ordered size 8. Here's hoping that is a better fit.
I'd also recommend:

Bought several months ago. Love the fit and style however there is a crease over top toe area. It's looking very worn out at just a few months but still like the fit.

I wore these a few times with no issues, but recently my feet started hurting. I know my body is changing, but when I removed the insole to get a look at the arch support, the insole was flimsy with very little in the way of arch support. Had to replace the insoles with something more substantial.

Ive had mine for a couple of years and boy are they comfortable! Great arch support, which is a must for me. Good grip, able to manage uneven terrain, able to keep my feet under me when the dog darts after a squirrel. Love these shoes!

Loved the color of these shoes but they were too wide even though they were medium width. Felt like I had a mans shoe on.

Purchased for my daughter, stylish shoe. She claims it's a little hard in the sole and could use more cushion there.

I had to go 1/2 size up for more length. I love the lightness of these shoes and the grip that the Vibram soles provides. However, the insoles are very basic and do not provide much arch support. The insoles are easily removable, and I have replaced them with something more substantial and supportive.

I bought these for a trip to Costa Rica, anticipating a lot of rain and mud and hot weather. They've done pretty well. They're grippy, but slipped on the wet rocks a little more than my friend's sturdy hiking shoes. They took a little breaking in, but are very comfortable now. No blisters after about 10 miles that I've put on them.
I tested them out at my home in Washington State and my feet got cold in October, so I say they're great for hot weather too. Although your feet are going to get hot no matter what in the tropics!
Good choice for the price!

I got these shoes two years ago. Ive worn them off and on to run errands, teach pre-k, do lots of walking while on vacation to Virginia and California, and to do yard work. I have very high arches and plantar fasciitis in my right foot. I choose to wear an additional insert to provide more comfort during longer wear. These are by far the best darn shoes Ive had that conform to my feet and are light enough to wear all day. Im serious when I say they fit my foot. It took about two weeks of 2-3 hour wear to achieve this. Well worth the money too. But, I have to agree with another reviewer below, the 4 out of 5 stars is because the toe area is wearing thin. Its beginning to show the mesh pattern thats underneath. I think the toe area should be reinforced with what appears to be on the sides/instep of the shoes.

The availability was good. Delivery as predicted. Comfortable shoe. Looks great. The sole is quite hard and unforgiving might buy some soft insoles. Love the grip of the soles. Like the arch and toe support

I absolutely love this shoe. Purchased to replace the old Siren 2s that I have worn out. But, a problem and reason for 4 stars only: the gray toe cap on this shoe got dinged up during my first wear, in the car on my way to bowling (did not wear them bowling!). I have no idea HOW and I'm not sure the black showing through is under the gray or just a scuff I can't get out. While it's not that noticeable if you're not looking, I can see the dings, on a brand new shoe. :(

Comfortable and solid shoe overall, though the inside feels a bit built up in the heel and not enough under the arch. Also the soles tend to slip on wet surfaces such as leaves or wet wood, making me feel a bit unstable at times.

Loved the way Merrill Siren Edge 3 looked and felt. Unfortunately, I am returning it as the squeak loudly when walking on hardwood floors.
