This shoe has the same great stiff hiking sole with a lighter weight shoe on top. Great for walks on dirt roads or trails.

I have wide feet znd they fit great. I wear themat the gym a d when I take my dog for walks.

Great shoes for walking. I put in over 2,300 miles of walking last year, so I need a comfortable and reliable shoe for that.

The wide size is Very comfortable for my wide feet. A better fit for me than the siren Traveller 3's, which were too narrow even in the wide size. These have a narrower heel than the Antora's which is also better for me

Great lightweight hiking shoe. No problem with a 14-mile round trip hike to the top of Mount LeConte in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The size 8 fits as expected.

My pandemic hobby is walking. A 2-3 mile walk is typical. In my neighbor hood that includes uneven pavement, packed dirt trails & hills. Good soles and support. Nice looking too.

my go to walking shoes. Walk every day, rain or shine, 3 times a day. Reliable, provides the required traction for safety and perfect arch support. Too bad the heel soles wear out every 3-4 months prompting shoe replacement, while the rest of the shoes are still in good condition.

Overall, this shoe is a great fit. It provides a very supportive foundation and a comfortable foot bed. Because of the width, the toe box is roomy with no toe pinching. The only issue I had is that the heel support caved in within the first couple of wears. It's partially my fault for not loosening the laces enough before putting it on but this isn't something that normally happens. Comparing it to other shoes, the heel support is inferior but this was the only negative I had.

Merrill's alway the best!!! We use Merrel's to hike, walk and run!!!
