These shoes are so flexible and comfortable. The soles are grippy but not as stiff as hiking shoes. I have more energy when I wear these shoes while working.

I am SO pleased with my new shoes from Merrell. They are the Siren Edge 3 wide width. I took them on my recent trip to the Orkneys and my feet were SO comfortable.

They held up to hiking in Volcanoes National Park in Hawaii! No sore feet the next day.

I wore the Siren Edge 3 in the Galpagos Islands . The most important item I bought for my trip.

A fantastic shoe! Loved it so much I bought a second pair. Took these to Scotland on vacation for walking around the Highlands and Edinburgh. Super great choice in footwear. Super light, yet supportive and not slippery on cobble stone roads, walkways or wet rocks!! Highly recommended.

Great right out of the box! Hiked 5 miles the first day. Followed the suggestion of other reviews and ordered a half size up. I love these shoes so much, I just purchased a second pair to have on hand for when my first pair wears out. I've only worn them three times so I don't know how long they'll last, but the quality seems good for the price (and I've paid more for shoes that started to break down after just a few days on a backpacking trip). Plan on wearing them for three day/30 mile backpacking trip next week and I'm not worried at all about how my feet will feel carrying 30+lbs in these shoes.

I went to Portugal for 2 weeks! I highly recommend them. Yes, they aren't the cute converse that others may wear but these give you much more support and are long lasting. I also am a fitness trainer and I choose these over any sneaker! They aren't bulky and are also great for hiking.

Love these shoes, going to hike in The Rocky Mountain National Park in September. There is no breaking in period with the shoes.

Great walking trail shoe, with multiple terrain elements. Wet, small rock, small limbs, etc.

Excellent fit and super comfortable. Only wore them a couple of days before taking them on an African Safari. Plenty of walking, great soles for uneven and slippery surfaces.

Comfortable, supportive. After a hip replacement, I was told I could never run again. Training for & completing half marathons did so much me mentally as well as physically. As vegan, it was always challenging to find running shoes. Thanks to Merrell, I plan to walk an official 5k soon, a 6k in a few months, & my favorite half marathon next year!

I bought these for both daily walking as well when on dirt/ rock paths. They are wonderfully stable in the mountains!! Daily walking- not as comfortable with the firm footbed. Will keep them for "off path" as this is where they are great!!
