Lightweight, waterproof, true to size. What is not to love?!? Ordering my second pair now. I have worn other brands in this trail shoe/waterproof style and these are the BEST! So glad a wide option is offered in a wide range of sizes. Thank you Merrill! Great for walking dogs on dewy mornings or in the rain.

I am putting these waterproof Siren Edge 3 Waterproof hikers through some low intensity hikes in Utah in preparation for upcoming Lisbon trip. So far very pleased. Love the Vibram soles that grip the terrain. I do use an orthotic so I pleased that the insoles are removable.

The fit is perfect and I think the design is great. I love them. Good arch support, which I definitely need. I have a normal width foot, maybe a tad narrow and these are a good fit. All around great shoe!

I have been advised to get a hiking boot instead of shoe.

I intentionally purchased half - 1 size larger and a Wide width because Merrell's run small and narrow. I am normally a 5M in most shoes but have a bunion now and often have problems finding shoes to fit. These 6W are quite roomy in the front and allow me to wear either medium or heavy weight hiking socks. Just tried these on walking and flat trails in Yellowstone and Teton, and they were comfortable over several days. The soles are still stiff like a hiking boot, but they are easier to pack and look more like a sneaker. I used to be a diehard Solomon fan, but their newer styles are WAY narrower than before. This narrowing trends seems to be happening with many brands, like my old Asics running shoes.

I had foot surgery in October and I bought this a month ago when I was finally able to transition to footwear. I absolutely love these. They are comfortable and fit perfectly. I liked them so much that I bought the same in the other available color.

These are the first time I bought the Siren and I love how light they are on my feet. I also love the traction. Got them for Christmas and they have already been put to good use

I'm super happy with these shoes. felt great right off the box on my wide feet. off course the arch support isn't at the level of orthotics insoles but there is some. I haven't try the waterproofnes of them but we will see as spring is here

Attractive shoes for gym, for walking or for wearing all day. Very firm, supportive shoes. NOT for running. Brand recommended by my physician for previous stress fracture of my second metatarsal. I love that the shoes are very supportive without being bulky.

I bought these for a trip to the Amazon where I needed waterproof shoes with good support and great comfort. I've had 5 surgeries on my feet because of wearing high heels for work for so many years. These couldn't have been a better choice! SO pleased!
I'd also recommend:

Shoes were typical Merrell. Feel great right out of the box. They do seem to be on the narrow side compared to other shoes but knew that going in. Have worn Merrells for years.

The only problem I had with the shoe was the width. Size/width should be the same as other styles.

These sneakers are not totally waterproof as advertised. They are too narrow for my bunion so the comfort for me is not so good. Otherwise they are good shoes and look great.

I love the Merrell Siren Edge....I put 500 miles on my first pair and went with the waterproof model for winter. They are a perfect fit for me and I run/walk 4 miles daily.... rain, shine or snow. I often have neuroma pain, but not with these shoes.

I thought about returning these shoes for a few weeks before deciding to keep them. As other reviewers mentioned, they seemed very stiff out of the box. After deciding to keep them, I went on my usual 7+mile hilly walk and fell in love with my shoes. Some walking/hiking shoes are overly cushioned but these are just right. I usually wear size 7.5, but went with an 8 to give my toes a bit more freedom. I live in the Pacific Northwest and walking is my exercise of choice. My walks include hard surfaces and gravel paths/trails and up and down hills in wet and sometimes slippery conditions. I feel very secure in these shoes and am hoping against hope Merrell keeps this style around for a while. I would definitely purchase these again.

These shoes are great everyday urban and park hikers! The waterproofing makes them great for wet grass and muddy ground as well. I would suggest buying them a bit snugger than you might otherwise for hikers, as I found that they stretched quite a bit upon the first wearing, so much so that I had to go down a half size from 8s to 7 1/2s, as the 8s stretched so much that they were too big even with thick socks. The 7 1/2s seemed too tight at first, but after stretching from the first wearing, they fit perfectly! I've work them at least a dozen times now, and I love these shoes!

Fits great and fantastic traction on hikes. Extremely comfortable too! I am used to running shoes all the time and this didn't feel clunky at all but served the purpose of traction.

I own a pair of Merrell Siren Edge 2 waterproof shoes and Ive had them atleast 2 years. The bottom of the shoe was wearing down so I looked for the same shoe but couldnt find my size. I decided to try the Siren 3 model and Im happy with it. I wear them every day to walk the dog or for light day hiking. The only difference I notice is the Siren 3 is a little stiffer than the Siren 2. If I had to choose between the two models, I think I would choose the Siren 2 model. I really like the shoe because it has good arch support and they protect my feet from any kind of rain or moisture here in Pennsylvania. I also like the fact that they are not too bulky and I can wear them around town.
