Overall a great shoe with plenty of width for us wide feet people. They beat nomads (which I love and own many pairs of) in most categories. Only negative is that my heel comes up out of the back of the shoe a bit with each step. Hoping when they are worn in that problem will go away. Would definitely recommend this shoe.

Too narrow / tight across the top of the foot. I own the previous version of these shoes and love them.

I had the previous version of this shoe and loved it. This version was much tighter across the top of the foot.

i expected better fit. its too tight even for comparatively not wider or bigger feet like mine. its heavy definitely. feels sustainable.

Great looking shoe, nice colour and overall felt good, website recommended to size down. I'm usually a 9, chose 8 from the adidas recommendation and shoe was way too small on arrival, went to return and size 9 was sold out :/ would recommend sticking to your regular sizing

The build quality is top notch. They look great, too. But five minutes into a real trail run and it's obvious these miss the mark big time. There is zero lockdown of the ankle. Even with the laces extremely tight my foot was just sliding all over the place - to the point where, with enough sideways force, it felt like the shoe wanted to lay down on its side and I kept panicking that my ankle was going to come right up out of the shoe. It's not a size issue - I did order a half size down. Any smaller and my toes would be pushing into the front of the shoe.
They might be great for gravel trails or if you won't be running or jumping, but I will never use these on a technical trail run ever again. I'm lucky I didn't roll my ankle on the first run yesterday.
Real shame, because they're incredible in every other way and feel like a dream when running on flat gravel or dirt.

I've put about 150 miles on the shoe on New Mexico high desert mountain trails. The Boost cushioning is amazing and support is good. The shoe is stupid wide. I couldn't get a snug fit no matter how tight I laced them. That much slop made for a terrible ride on the more technical portion of my trails. The upper is breathable, but is very similar to the fuzzy side of Velcro - meaning anything prickly you run through sticks to it. The upper will offer no water protection. It also annoyingly pinches my little toe on every step (see photo, the dark black part along the sole compresses in on your toe with every step). I generally like sock fit shoes, however the heel portion of this was too loose and doesn't come up high enough. It creates a "debris scoop" for pebbles and sand (see photo). The sole is not that aggressive, which was OK for my terrain. I'm not sure how well it would do in mud. The heel area of the sole could use a re-design as the lugs wear quickly. I was about to return them then tried swapping insoles from a pair of Solar Boosts. This made a big difference in reducing the "sloppy" feel and allowed me to continue use (it didn't stop the upper from pinching my little toe, though). I've been running in adidas exclusively for 30 years and cannot remember a shoe in which I was more disappointed. There is no way I can recommend Terrex Two and would strongly advise looking into a different model.
