These shorts are very comfortable and the perfect length. For me they run true to size. The faded lilac color is great and I wear them all the time. I am seriously considering ordering other colors.

I ended up getting the size larger based on previous review. Wish I had gone with my usual size. They didn’t really shrink once I washed them and they’re just a little baggier fit than I usually like my clothes And they stretch a little so I think order your regular size but great shorts!

I wear an 8 in pants, ordered a 10 in these. Great fit. Nice material. Look good rolled up or down. Nice length.

Great shorts, but the Salt color is somewhat see-through. I ordered in the Soot color this past spring and really liked the fit, style, and quality, so thought I'd order in another color. Salt might work for you if you wear with a thong and don't tuck in your shirt, but I had VPL when I tried on with nude-colored bikini-style underwear and could see a tucked-in shirt through the fabric.

Wonderful! run a little big great style can role up legs, seem very durable.

Comfortable and nice fit.

I have two Earthworks pants and finally bought a pair of shorts. The fit of the shorts is exactly the same as the pants. Just a bit of stretch which is perfect. The price point seems a tad high but I loved the Green Pasture color and had to buy these. I am 5'4 130 and purchased a size 8.

I'm a late 50s lady who is reasonably fit and don't mind exposing my legs. I love these shorts! They are extremely comfortable and flattering. I am 5'7, 165 and I got the 12. I lost my waist at menopause and if it weren't for that, I could have worn the 10. Love the pockets, love that they don't look like grandma shorts with wide flappy legs, the length is perfect on me. Two small caveats: they're a bit stretched out by the end of the day, and after sitting for a while they're very creased, so they're not a wear-multiple-days-without-washing short, but otherwise they're perfect.

II tried these in soot because I couldn't get my usual Sanctuary's in black. These are very flattering. I am a size 10-12 (a 30 in Sanctuary) and ordered a 12 and the fit is perfect. I am apple shaped. The fabric is cool and drapes well. Love, love, love. I'll be buying another color next month. I do wish Toad made shirts in petites because they are of such good quality but don't fit me at all. These are expensive but you will be wearing them for years.

Love the fit and style of these mid length shorts, soft with a little stretch and good pockets. True to size, no shrinkage in the wash. But boy did they wrinkle! Machine washed and dried and removed promptly. They were totally wrinkled, deep and difficult to iron out with hot steam iron, plus sprayed with water. Hoping they will relax and not be so bad. May line dry next time.
