Right out of the box and on the trail both Saturday and Sunday. Logged a combined 4 miles on the two days and feet felt fine. Traction on rock scrambling allowed my feet to be secure. New shoes made for an enjoyable weekend with many more hikes in the futu.

Wore this with calf-length running socks. The fit was a tad loose, but when the weather cools down, thicker waterproof socks might create a snug fit. Gripped the loose gravels on dirt trail paths very well. Even received a compliment from another hiker on its looks.

Love the look of this shoe, but it is at least a half size too small, if not a whole size. I walked around my apartment for a bit, and it felt very comfortable except for the length (my toes were hitting the end, and I’ve never worn larger than a men’s 8). Sadly returning.
