It's nice when walking on rocks but not for long time daily wear. Good for rainy day as it is water proof.

Nice comfy shoe, errs towards the small size on me but just fit my usual shoe size but not much in it. Not tested in wet yet but comfy for walking in.

A decent outdoors shoe but make sure you order a size up because they are on the small side

Not tried in the wet yet but in the dry fit well after initial break in. Warm in hot weather as all gore-tex items are, none the less they are breathable and have good grip on tracks, not tried mud yet.

If you like to get out and about these shoes have your back. Very sturdy, very comfortable. My only con with them is the tread on the sole can wear quite quickly, however after speaking with Adidas, this was soon rectified.

Had terrier gore-tex trainers before, so I could recommend them

These would be the perfect hiking shoes if the soles didn't wear out so fast. This is my second pair and while the upper part of the shoe is in perfect condition, I have holes in the sole where they have worn through. Compared to other makes they only last about half the distance. People might argue the sole material is softer for better grip, I can't say I have noticed. It brings a year to my eye to have to bin these shoes when the uppers are still in such great condition. Please make the soles tougher and these shoes would be brilliant.

Looked quality. Definitely go up a whole size. Seemed comfortable.

seemed a bit on the smaller size. i will know after i have worn them for a while if this is the issue or they just need to be broken in. comfortable to walk in but shoe makes a loud noise when walking. maybe just new sound!

I have always been a size 10.5 in adidas, at least for 15 years. The first time I ordered these, I was sent the size 10.5 box, with an invoice for size 10.5 and a pair of size 10 in the box. I got in touch and the exchange process is hit or miss with customer service. If you do manage to get through without getting cut off, they seem to unwillingly give good service, I feel like there is a falseness behind the "is there anything else I can do for you?" and only concerned with receiving a good review through the customer questionnaire rather than genuinely having any interest in doing a good job. This has been my experience throughout the last 3 times and not a one off concern. Thankfully, the integrated delivery service is exceptional, really impressed by this. The warehouse must receive a notification of the return and expedite a new delivery the same day. I received the exchange the next day. I'm still waiting on orders arriving from DPD from nearly 3 weeks ago. The trainers themselves are ok, they feel at least a 1/2 size smaller than any other size 10.5 in adidas, just slightly pinching. They are comfy and cosy though and I have been splashing in puddles with no soggy socks. I'm cautiously optimistic these will last longer than the other Terrex shoes that have claimed to be waterproof, but have failed after 6 months. They have an medium level of grip, yet to be used on a trail but definitely higher than my ZX500, I was slipping and sliding all over the place with the recent ice. The Terrex has much better grip. Overall, they were excellent value, quite comfortable (hoping they may stretch a bit) and excellent delivery service.

I bought these waterproof hiking shoes for my recent Ben Nevis hike and i can say they have rock solid grip but only bad thing is they feel hard on your feet, expected more cushioning.

I have had many pairs of Adidas trainers and I have been a size 9 (43) for a very long time but the last 2 pairs I have had seem to have been too tight so I have had to go up 1/2 a size. Adidas were very good and allowed me to exchange these, I couldn't exchange my other pair. Now the size is correct they are very comfortable and I wore them straight away with no issues.

This is a great shoe but order a full size larger I'm a 9.5 shoe, so ordered (and wore) a ten and I find that my toes are touching. Style wise it's a fab shoe, plus it's GoreTex so my feet were lovely and dry.

It's too bulky-heavy. It's simply too cumbersome to walk in for extended periods of time.
