Seems lower quality than the others I already own. The tongue and hi top were so thin and jagged it tore up my skin.

I was excited to try these. I'm an 8 in all vans. The way these are made they look super small. (I checked the size like 3x to make sure it wasnt a sizing error.) I wasn't even able to get my foot half way inside idk what the heck is going on here. Super disappointed.

These are super cute not definitely NOT comfortable. Your feet will sweat through the socks and make the leather material squeak.

You sold out of those first and as a woman with big feet, you don't offer any other stackforms in sizes like 13.5... I hope you reissue or start making them for ladies and others with big feet.

Tongue on right shoe is sewn on askew to the right, and material at base of tongue, on front top, is all wrinkled and worn looking. Left shoe looks used, laces were loosened. Dirt on soles, right had more dirt on heel. Tongue hits & rubs hard against front of ankles. Overall, look & feel defective. Must return.

The top of the shoes are so thin they cut into my skin. I love the pattern but traditionally vans are squishier on the tops which provide support but these are horrible. I tried to return them but was unsuccessful.

First, the colors were not as pictured, they were more of an an off orange than peach or honey. Secondly, the quality around the sole was very poorly constructed. They stuck out a lot and looked awkward. Looked as if someone left a lot of extra rubber and didn't cut off the extra, then decided to enclose it with the final rubber sole around the shoe. I had high hopes for these but I would not purchase again.

I'm very unhappy with the canvas hi this time. I wore out my favorite old ones from two years ago and thought I was repurchasing the same sneaker. It is not. They don't have the padding around ankle, they are heavier, more rigid, the rubber is dense and uncomfortable, floppy like a clown shoe. Seriously why did you change the material and style? Super disappointed.

I bought these shoes in January 2023 and it's now almost May 2023. My shoes already have a hole inside and I'm really disappointed with this quality. I would expect this kind of wear and tear after a year but I have only been consistently wearing them for 2 months.

These shoes are pretty terrible. Mine started falling apart after two weeks of wear . My toes started poking threw the thin toe leather . Next the canvas lining has ripped along the tapped heel . This makes putting the shoes on and off very difficult. I’ve barley worn them and they look awful! The soles have zero wear while the tops look like they are about to come apart from the soles . Seriously inferior product . Don’t even think about skating in these .

I’ve been wearing vans since the early 90’s. Haven’t had a pair of sk8 hi in a while and decided to try these. I hate to say it but these new vans are terrible. The canvas and leather are so thin my toes ripped through the tops a with only a few weeks of wear. The thin canvas liner ripped all along the inside heel after about a month. The shoes look like they’ve been to hell and back and I’ve barley worn them . No skating just casual wear. The bottom of the soles have zero wear while the tops are about to fall off! Please bring back the old school vans please

I could barely get these shoes on. Once I got one shoe on after trying my hardest, I couldn't it off. I got it off but hurt my foot from trying so hard

I like the color of the shoe, it looks nice, but unfortunately doesn't fit me and that's my size in all shoes and is too small. Planning returning. Please be more especific with the size guide because doesn't work for me. The shoe is to small even for my sister that is a size down than me.

If you've ever worn a pair of Sk8 his you know that the "cuff" of the shoe is padded and provides some "firmness" to allow you to pull and get your foot inside the shoe.
The tapered version's "cuff" is a floppy piece of canvas that smushes down with no give and it's impossible to get your foot inside.
Not sure what's wrong with this design or why I was having so much trouble. Returned and got a pair of regular Sk8 his which fit no problem.
Do yourself a favor. Skip the tapered version. Save the headache and spend the extra $5 on a normal pair of Sk8 his

I am a HUGE fan of Vans Sk8-Hi and have several colors. This time I took a leap and did the tapered ankle, which was not it. Around the ankle has no cushion like the regular ones and it hurts to wear them. They also have a snugger fit in the toe box. Im so sad because this colors lights up the world. Bummer.

Bought these for my 12 year old daughter on July 29, 2022 and these shoes are falling apart. She only wears to school maybe 3 times per week as she has other sneakers /shoes she wears. I’m so disappointed and so is she.

The material is rough. The shoe has a weird fit. It hurts around the ankle and it is wide in a weird place. Had a hard time getting my foot down in the shoe. I have no problems with tapered Sk8's, but these are a big ole NOOOOOOPE for me. Also, the color looks different in person. These shoes are weird... and I am a VANS lover. I just don't love these.

Was very disappointed that the materials in this shoe were listed incorrectly. They are not just canvas with a rubber sole, the stripe is made of leather. I don’t wear leather so will be returning. Just a heads up to others who don’t wear animals!

I made the mistake of not wearing longer socks wearing them for a couple hours at work and rubbed a sore in the back of my heel. Laces tied tighter or left loose, there's this uncomfortable rub on the ankles. Also shoes were delivered with a massive crimp in the sole.
