These are a little big--but only in the very front. The material and color are great. They look good.:)

These are a little big (in the front), but I think a size down would be too snug. I wear this size in Vans (old school) and have had them be either a little too big or some are perfect. Material's good--like the color.

I ordered these in two sizes because I tend to go between a 6.5 and a 7 in Vans. The 6.5 probably would have worked but I decided the 7 fit better. I am usually a 7 in other brands. However, I sent back both sizes because on the size 7, one of the soles had a weird dent/smooshed part that made the toe kind of stick out. I could see it sticking out when I was wearing the shoes and looking down. It was weird.

I love the colors and license plates around the sole. The tapered hi top makes it hard to get these on and off. Even after loosening up the laces all the way down, they are hard to put on.

I love these shoes. They go with everything, which is exactly why I bought them. I 100% recommend.

The tongue is stiff. Still deciding if I'm going to keep them.

Based on the description for the Sk8-Hi Tapered, I couldn't decipher whether this colorway (black/black) were just canvas, or suede/canvas. They were just canvas. Would have preferred them being suede/canvas, but these are fine. Fit like all my other Vans, and I really wanted a pair of the all-black shoes in the tapered style.

My son loves these shoes. However we just got them a few months ago and they are separating from the canvas. Other then this he loves the the size is right the fit is right maybe we just got a faulty pair. Who knows. Still love vans.

honestly annoying to put on because you have to constantly loosen the laces in order to put your foot in but they're cute lol

Bought for my 12yr old niece size 7.5. They fit her well and are so cute with shorts jeans and even her school uniform skirt. They are def a bit narrow if u have a really wide feet I say half size up.She loooves the denim style of the shoe. Great buy.

I wanted to love these shoes sooo badly! I’m a Converse hi-top fan, and these white with rainbow foxing Vans are JUST my style! I was looking for white shoes, and a pop of color is a perfect detail! I ordered a 9 (my normal size) and an 8.5, the 8.5 fit better.
Unfortunately there’s something off with the heel fit on both the 8.5 and 9. The 9 had too much room in the toes AND felt like my heel was too big for the heel of the shoe. Almost like there’s a slight ramp/wedge on the back, cutting inward toward the bottom of the heel. I’ve never experienced this before on any other shoe; ever. It’s almost like the shoe doesn’t acknowledge that the heel sticks out farther than the achilles/ankle on most people. To get the shoes to feel normal (either size) I have to shove my feet as far forward on the sole as possible (away from ramp). Both the 8.5 and 9, the 9 just has too much extra toe space for me, even after shoving my foot forward.
I’m not sure if this is a Vans thing? A break-in thing? Do they stretch at all? They feel perfect with my foot pushed forward in the shoe (and a significant gap at the back ankle), but if my foot slips backward (which it does as I walk), the heel “ramp”/“cramped” feeling is back.
I want these shoes so bad. :( I’m heartbroken. I’m going to wear them around the living room some to see if I can find a way to make them work, but it doesn’t seem likely.

you'd be surprised how comfy these are because they look heavy, but the platform is so soft and comfortable but within like five or six times of wearing mine the shoe started to separate from the sole and now they're ugly. so they become concert shoes. spending almost $100 is a lot to spend on shoes that are gonna fall apart quickly

This shoe looks amazing, but it's so frustrating and painful to put on. There should be a tab in back to assist with slipping it on. It takes forever.

For some reason, it's oddly challenging to get a foot into the shoe. Once in, they're great.

Although I love the styling of this shoe, it's almost not worth the PAIN it is to put on and take off! It takes forever. How hard would it have been to sew a tab at the heel to make it easier for us to put on and take off? Another thing is, the material and stitching around the tongue is rough and it was scratching and irritating my ankle from rubbing, I had to cover it with a band aid.

I loved my tapered sk8-hi shoes and wore them for years until they fell apart. So I ordered a new pair but when I opened the box I could see they were different than what I was expecting, there wasn't any padding around the collar of the shoes (the part closes to the ankles)
This makes the shoes somewhat uncomfortable to wear and makes it feel like you're wearing converse hi-tops. If I wanted converse I would have bought them. I want my old tapered skate-hi's back!!

These shoes are comfortable and cute but I must say that it is a little strange, they are not well finished, it seems to me that they do not have the same quality as other products from the same brand, I am grateful that I bought them at a discount otherwise I would be a little disappointed

I bought these for my daughter and went up a half size and it was too tight. We even removed the laces and couldn't get her foot in. We loved the style so went in the store to look for a size exchane but none of the workers have ever seen this shoe in store. We were sad, we ended up buying another style that my daughter liked.

The shoes are a great color in a vivid purple but the toe box is so tight that no matter how you loosen the laces it's not enough.
