I am SO disappointed. The hats I ordered were shipped all rolled up. The reason I bought new hats is that I wanted rims that were not wrinkled. The hat arrived wrinkled and I could not flatten out the rim. For a slightly smaller box, the hat was ruined and I had to return. If you don't care about wrinkled rims on your hats, this is a nice one, but it arrived with crimping that could not be removed. I hope in the future zappos will ship in a proper box.

I bought this hat to wear on a trip to the northern coast of California knowing it would be packed for ages (3 1/2 hour flight plus additional travel time) and it did not disappoint. I was concerned that it was shipped in a bag and folded up in my mailbox, but it popped right into shape. The S/M fit was great for my average sized head. The hat didn't shift around with the cord loose, but didn't feel tight either. It stayed put in the wind. The hat seems well made and I got several compliments while wearing it.

This was the second Columbia hat I bought in the same style. The first one, after years of use, had gone all floppy so I wanted a replacement. Zappos shipped this hat in bag so it came out bent of shape! I wish I could keep this hat because it fits my large head perfectly, but I'm returned because it wasn't shipped in box and has permanent folds in it. Zappos, you need to ship hats with more care!

I have a big head (23”) and this hat fits comfortably! It arrived fairly creased from shipping, but I steamed it out and played with the brim to reshape it. The chin strap looks a little chintzy, so I swapped it out with a brown strap from another hat I own. I’m *very* picky, and now I’m happy with it, especially for the price. I’ll be keeping this one!

I have a large head and most hats just don't fit, and it's hard to get into this kind of sun protection. And I LOVE this hat, the fit, the breathability during hot summer hikes, and the large brim. A packaging note: I bought the hat from Zappos and not from Columbia because Zappos had 1) the color I wanted and 2) reviewers at Columbia's own website said the hat arrived crushed. Zappos packed this large hat in its own roomy box so I didn't have to unfold or steam it back into shape!

The hat says it's packable for travel, but it came with two dents I can't get out, so it doesn't look great or seem very packable. One of the dents doesn't allow for the hat to properly flop. I had spent a long time looking for a hat and decided on this one, and I'm pretty disappointed.

I bought the hat for my 2-weeks trip to Colorado. The hat fell apart before I came back. Very disappointed.

Whoah! Love this hat! Bought it to keep the sun off my shoulders while out fishing ? the beautiful lakes of Minnesota and she does her job. The adjustable strap keeps this beauty from blowing off in a stiff wind. I’m not sure I could be any happier with my purchase! ??????

I have had this hat for three years now and it is still in perfect condition. I use it at least three times a week. I have gotten it completely submerged in the pool river and beach water several times and each time it dries completely normal. It's truly packable, I often shove it into my day pack or carry on and it always bounces right back. The chin strap is strong enough to hold that hat on during wild boat rides. It also provides fantastic sun protection. I never put sunscreen on my face or neck when I wear this hat and I've never gotten a sunburn. I love love love this hat and can't recommend it enough. I'm ordering one for my mom for her birthday

Wanted a straw hat with sun protection, this fits the bill. I was in between sizes but decided to go with the larger size, might have been able to wear the smaller but it fits comfortably so I'm happy with it. Mine arrived in good condition except for one small indentation on edge, not noticeable when I'm wearing it. Good secure tie under chin. The brim is slightly floppy but doesn't droop over eyes. If the brim were stiff it wouldn't be packable. A good combination of practicality and style.

This is the best sunhat I've ever bought. It fits my small head, which is rare, and the rim hangs in an aesthetic way. It looked wonderful in photos from my vacation. The strap is also helpful in windy conditions. I'll be buying more of these!

Great hat to garden in. The wide brim keeps the sun off my face and neck and the strap keeps it on my head when bending over and in the wind. It's well made and keeps it shape even after being packed in a suitcase. I think it will last a long time.

I have such a hard time finding cute hats that fit my big head. This one (L/XL) fits perfectly and looks great! I received lots of compliments from it.

I bought this hat a few months ago for a trip this month. The first time I used it, it started falling apart. I did not have any luck in contacting Customer Support which is also very frustrating since I would really like a replacement or a refund.

nice wide brim and it fits my head. I've got thick curly hair, so having it not too snug was super important to me. rolls up to fit in my backpack. Have worn it hiking and in the backyard. fully recommend

This hat is wonderful for working outdoors, traveling, or just going to the beach/pool. I love the adjustable chin strap so I can let it hang back. The hat packs well and provides good sun protection, too.
