GREAT shorts but runs super small! I originally purchased these shorts in an 18, my usual size and they were way, way too small. I’ll sometimes size up to a 20 if I want extra room but I decided to order them again in a 22 and i am so glad I did. The 22 feels like an 18. All that said, these shorts are quality, soft, comfortable, and versatile. I will probably order more. I am 5’6” 235lbs for reference and carry my weight in my stomach and booty. If you have a small butt and a flat stomach then you might not need to size up as much as I did.

These shorts were recommended to me by a friend because I am a PE teacher and a coach. I also hike and am active outdoors. I was a bit skeptical because I am a larger woman. I usually wear an 18-20 in plus size clothing. I purchased the 18 and the 20 to see what pair would fit better. The 18 fits perfectly. The 20 gave me a little extra room, so I kept both sizes and ended up ordering more colors in the 18. The shorts are very lightweight and I am able to easily move in them. The pockets are deep enough to keep keys/ID in them without fear of them falling out. The 7 inch is long enough for me to wear them to school and still be "appropriate." Love these shorts!

These shorts are super cute but they run small by one, maybe two, sizes. I am 5’6”, 235lbs and a consistent size 18 and these felt like a 16, maybe even 14. i could barely snap them and once i did they reminded me of my daughter’s volleyball spandex. nice quality and cute, but size up if you purchase them.

Not true to size.. fit my sister who is a regular 14.. definitely not a women’s 16. Very disappointing because they are such a nice quality short.

Loved the look of these online. Decide to purchase 2 colors. When I received them I tried them on and was impressed with the fit until I realized that the lighter colors I purchased were basically see through. Not the look I was going for. Returned the 2 I bought and bought the black pair. LOVE them. Waiting for the navy to be restocked and plan to buy those too!

These are my favorite shorts of all time! They are comfortable & last for years. I have worn the same size for years in many colors & bought new ones this summer that were very snug so I went a size up and they are great. Sizes just aren't what they used to be. You won't regret buying these shorts!

Love these shorts. I'm short so the 5 Inch in seem is hard to find.

This is my 2nd pair and my go-to shorts for any outside activity from zoo trips to camping. I love the 7 inch length.

I bought these shorts in the collegiate navy and stormy blue. Overall I like the shorts. They are well made and of good quality. I got a size 18 7 in. inseam on both (I'm 5'6, 240 and normally wear an 18-20). To me based on the other Columbia I have they run a little small but they weren't so tight that I sent them back. The inseam was perfect as they're long enough that they don't ride up but short enough they don't look too long on my legs. I would buy again, probably in a 20 and a darker color. The navy is great, and I love the bright blue but it definitely shows a lot more than the darker color.

These shorts are so comfortable and breathable. They are casual but also look tailored when worn with a nicer shirt. Love these shorts and am going to buy more colors!

I own about 8 pairs of sandy river cargo shorts and thought I'd try something new. I LOVE these shorts!! they're slightly stretchy and very comfortable. I did buy the 5" but they were too short so I got the 7". I bought navy and the lighter blue. So happy with my purchase!!!

These shorts are perfect for outside activities.

Lightweight but very sheer. Runs a little big and they loosen up as you wear them. Comfortable and cool for our 100 days but because they are so sheer I will only be wearing these around the house and yard. I have darker pairs more suitable for wearing out.

Love these shorts, but I had to size up. Probably could have sized up two sized and still ok.

lightweight but not sized right, snap is plastic and worried about breaking it, shorter than I hoped
