I have purchase Maui Jim sunglasses over the years, and have always been pleased with the product. Having had eye surgeries, it is important to have good sunglasses that protect my eyes. I recently purchased the Local Kine sunglasses, and they perform great.

Look great. Fit perfectly. High quality. Cant wait to get them out on the glacier in Alaska. Ive had many pairs of Maui Jims over the years and they always deliver great results. Definitely recommend.

I own several pairs of Maui Jims, these are one of my favorites! So lightweight and comfortable.

The sunglasses fit perfectly for my husband. He has a large head and they fit him comfortably. He would recommend.

I purchased a pair of prescription Locak Kine about 5 years ago. I know.....why am I writing a review 5 years after the fact. I don't expect anything to come of it other than perhaps warning others about the frame. But, who knows? Maybe they've redesigned the frame and use a different material? I LOVE Maui Jim lenses. They are far and above better than any other lenses that I've previously owned (I'm 66). My prescription has been pretty much unchanged for over 15 years so I mostly use old sunglasses for active wear and baby the new ones - which is what I did with the Local Kine. When I say baby, I mean always store them in their original pouch and hard case. My old pair of MJs, the Stingray, lasted almost 15 years before I misplaced/lost them (still hoping they turn up). In the meantime, I broke out the Local Kine only to discover the frames are sticky to the touch. It appears that whatever coating was used is deteriorating and making them appear mottled, not to mention that because they're sticky, every bit of dust adheres to the frames, making them look like I fished them out of the garbage. There's no way to clean them. Too bad, because the lenses are still in 100% perfect state. Let me reiterate, I barely wore these (less than 30 times over 5 years). I'll be going back to the Stingrays when I purchase a new pair. They are a far superior frame material.

I bought these sunglasses and the one of the nosepieces fell of within a week. The replacement nosepieces were sent in free of charge but you have to glue them back on yourself. Sunglasses this expensive should not require DIY repair within the first month of ownership.

Good fit on my face , the green glass lens is just something else , never had a clear and bright vision like that before. Just hope that the nose pads wont get ripped cause I saw a few bad comments about it.

I bought these sunglasses May 20th while vacationing in Port Saint Joe, Fl. Maui Jim's are the only brand I will buy, excellent quality and value. I also have Southern Cross and Barrier Reef.

Returned them. Too dark lens. Need more rose color glass lenses
