I ordered this and the Westoak City Trench coats for my daughter to try for college. The Metroview is a nice jacket but is kind of stiff and noisy. We both preferred the Westoak.

I'm so happy to have a trusted pal working at my local TNF to point me directly to this baby. Although I walked into TNF looking for something else, I'm beyond delighted to have left with this raincoat instead. I needed something to cover my bum and keep me dry as I was called into an impromptu meeting while heading to the gym. Had to make several trips outdoors as it ranged from heavy, mist, and light rain - this jacket dried quickly, kept me toasty in the wind gusts, and is extremely flattering. This is by far one of my favorite purchases to date.

This jacket arrived right before Hurricane Ida. I was outdoors in extremely heavy, whipping rain, and bailing water with a bucket. Stayed bone dry under this trench. Five stars. Performed even better than expected.

Finally! A TNF trench that does not look too sporty to be worn to the office. TTS

The fit is a little snug in the shoulders but I love the length. I’m 5’7” 150lbs. Ordered a Med.

I really love the style of this jacket, love the adjustable side strings. My issue is that the XL looked really big in me and the large didn't look huge on me but didn't close/zip up. Probably not for my Body type but I would def repurchase if it could zip up and not look gigantic.

I've had this jacket for two winters now and I LOVE it. I like the length so my butt doesn't get cold and it does a great job keeping the wind out on blustery days. I appreciate the drawstring hood and I get lots of compliments when I wear it.

I'm between a small and medium and went with a medium here for the movement and layering possibilities. Very happy with this! My first waterproof jacket that goes down to the thighs.

I love this jacket! Unfortunately mine was stolen & I want to purchase it again! The original color I had was taupe & black; still going to purchase this coat again!

Another winner from The North Face! Perfect mid-weight, sturdy trench for the roller coaster weather in Central Texas. Light gray complements lots of clothes without looking too bulky or heavy.

This jacket is very flattering. It does however, run a little large. For reference I am 5'2" and 170lbs and the large is big on me. For fall weather in New England it keeps me warm.

This raincoat is exactly as advertised and I love it! It has a large hood that stops rain from getting in your face, even on those windy, rainy days. Yet because of the high zipper, the hood doesn't easily blow off. It fits me well. I'm 5'4", 130lbs and bought a small. I can wear thick clothes underneath and still button/zip with room to spare. That said, I hate bulky, shapeless coats. This coat has a flattering cut and the waist tie allows you to cinch in your middle for a more feminine and stylish look. Lastly, the length is a big plus. It hits mid-thigh in the front and slightly lower in the back. I wore the coat with rain boots that come right below my knees. Between the two items, I felt protected and dry during a recent rainstorm. The coat is a bit pricey but knowing it will be used for years to come, I felt it was a wise investment. My only "complaint" was I wish there were more colors offered. That said, I like the color I selected so all in all, a happy customer.

Wow, great raincoat! I love the zippers on the side and the way the pockets are covered (no water getting in there!). It is small though. Bought a small for my daughter who is 5'1" and 97 lbs. With a sweatshirt underneath the back was tight. Also, when I went to return and buy a new one, the price went from $125 to $180!!

I took a chance on the size and fit of this trench as my very old North Face definitely needed replacing. I am 5'2" and 122 evenly distributed pounds. I bought the coat in M, was able to cinch the waist and, using the velcro at the wrist, tighten them so they were not too long. With no extra layers I had a fashionable coat on. But if I need a layer of fleece, for example, I'd have room and still not look like I was wearing a muu muu. Well constructed, good fabric. I'm pleased.

The length of this coat is what I was looking for. Comes just above the knee. The sleeves are long and covers your whole wrist as when it rains they don't get wet. Pockets are functional and hood stays up. I bought this coat for a trip to Alaska and it was a life saver. Very breathable.

The quality is amazing. Beautiful trench, both stylish and sportive. The only thing if you are looking for warmth it's not the rain coat you should get. It's more like for early fall days. I am 5'2 106 lbs, got myself xs and it looks perfect.
