I am on my feet a lot working in a library. I bought these to have supportive, cozy sandals that look professional and can be worn with anything from dresses to jeans. These are the only sandals that can hold up to an 8.5 hour shift on my feet and still look cute enough to wear to dinner! I get compliments on them all the time. The one thing to note is the yellow strap started out pretty tight - I was ok with that because I assumed it would stretch over time. Love these shoes!

I have wide phalange joints, low arches and a history of ankle ligament blow outs. The sandals have performed great so far. The strong ankle band really helps, even on uneven terrain.

I can and have comfortably walked miles in these sandals and they look cute with dresses -- for the win!

I went for a long walk with my dog with these shoes straight out of the box. Really love these shoes. I ordered a second color after just one day.

Cute shoes, but the toe strap has no stretch at all!! Had to take them off as soon as I put them on. Would not recommend for people with wider feet!

I actually haven't worn them much but I tried them on and they're super cute and summery, fit well. I bought them because I bought a similar pair that I really like without the backstrap, but they were a little too neutral. Now that they're 40% off I may buy pair number two! They have a bit of a hard floor meaning not much cushion so if you want a lot of padding these aren't for you. I'm not sure I could walk miles in them for that reason.

Okay, these are now my FAVORITE PAIR of summer active sandals. I didn't even know they existed when I walked into my local shoe store and after trying them on, it was magic! Seriously, the best fit I could have ever asked for. I see they come in other colors, so going to add to my collection soon. They get worn every day whether it's a short hike on the trails, biking to my local pizza place (they stick well on the pedals) or just looking good on a hike uptown to meet friends. I LOVE them! I'll keep reaching for them again and again over all other active sandals - so comfortable and I like the little extra height they offer. Buy NOW.

LOVE these shoes. Over the last 2 years, I've walked at least 200 miles in them, including 90 minutes a day each summer when I walk the dog. No break in period, and they've held up amazingly well. Super easy to clean (I soaked them in water+tide powder, scrubbed them a little, and let them dry overnight.) The only reason I'm buying a second pair is because I want another color. I wish they were slightly nicer so I could wear them to less casual events, but I'm going to try some of Keen's other sandals for those occasions. That said, you could get away with wearing these to dinner somewhere on vacation if they were clean (and maybe in a neutral color.)

Love, love these sandals. Saw a friend wearing them & decided to order, but was nervous about the fit because I have wide feet. No worries- theyre perfect! Comfortable right out of the box.

I LOVE these sandals and have them in two colors. Not only comfortable but made with concern for our environment.

Love them, super comfy. Only minor complaint is that the first few times I wore them they ripped the hairs off my big toe -- only on one side, so I feel like this might be a me problem? idk, I only had a few hairs on that toe anyway and now that they're gone it's fine. My other issue is that they got dirty really fast, and they look bad dirty. Another me problem, I just need to google how to clean shoes, but just beware that light colored shoes get dirty in the city! (I mean, duh, lol, but I didn't think about it when I hit buy.)

Must say I didnt know what to expect, as I have recently be battling with plantar fasciitis and was unable to find a comfortable shoe. So far I have wore them about 3 times without any feet complaints. I will most definitely be buy other colors.

I just bought a second pair because I wear them every day. Last year I wore them in Europe, walking miles on cobblestone streets and theyre still the most comfortable shoes I own!!!

The reviewer that said the the toe strap is tight and inflexible was correct. They fit so I am keeping them. I hope it softens over time.

I own 3 pair. I live in a 5 story home with all hardwood floors so wear a pair of these all day every day in the warmer months indoors. I also wear them out and about and love them so much. I have tailors bunions and these are a dream

Ive had these sandals for a few years and they are my favorite! Ive worn them to Disneyland, Legoland and just about everywhere else! Have held up great!

I bought a second pair this summer, and once again these sandals do not let me down. They are an easy choice for everyday wear to go to the office, run errands, or take long meandering walks in the summer. My partner knows these are great shoes and wishes these sandals came in larger sizes or a Men's version (he wears Men's 11). Please consider making the Elle Backstrap sandal available in more sizes!

Super comfortable, great fit from the moment I put them on. Can hike around in them then wear them to a summer soiree!

Love these sandals! They are comfortable and stylish, dressed up or down they work great! I like that Keen has made a sandal with recycled materials too.
