I love Keen Venice and Venice II, and these look similar so I tried them. They are stiffer, however, and they rub my feet where the Venice doesn't. They are a bit more snug than Venice sandals, which would be fine, if they weren't so stiff. I like the velcro heel strap - it is adjustable and removable.

The Velcro closure on the back of my heel was rough, irritating, & uncomfortable, painful even. And the shoe was much too wide for my average width foot, like this shoe was constructed for a man’s foot.

The color (maybe something like heathered light grey) was a bit dumpy looking but true to what it looked like online. The fit seemed true to Keens with a nice wide toe box. The soles/ feel is cushiony and soft, feels great on the feet and body. The reason these are going back is that it has a different back velcro area than my other Keens - it's over and back - so double in the middle. I tried a few different ways and each way had some pointy part of the velcro rubbing on my heel in such a way I had to stop mid-stride and take it off. I never could resolve this.

I have many Keen shoes of different styles. This Ravine H2 left shoe fit was snugger then right foot - more than I wanted to wear and attempt stretching. Love the style but am returning.

The shoes felt stiff with no flexibility and so wide that my feet felt as if they were caged in a boat.

Want a shoe with toe coverage for lake. These look a bit better than the Whisper that I already own. However, the Velcro straps at the heel is a dealbreaker I sent them back. Poorly designed

Strap at the back very uncomfortable. Great that itis adjustable, but the way it is designed is not good. Velcro doesn’t overlap and leaves gaps with Velcro exposed. Other parts of the strap end up three layers thick and uncomfortable

I have wearing Keen sandals for years but these sandals are awful!

I bought these thinking my feet wouldn't sweat very much during the hot summers of southern USA. It did help with that. These are not great for hiking, my feet were killing me after 30 mins. I am looking for someone who would like these. I never wear them - they are too wide for my C width feet and don't support my high arches.

These are far too complicated to put on, specifically the heel strap with double velcro to manage. They weren't at all supportive or comfortable either.

I love the color. I like the adjustable strap on the back of the shoe to customize my fit. However, the shoes are way too wide for me. My feet are narrow, but many Keen shoes fit me well enough. These shoes are much wider than other Keen shoes I have been pleased to wear. Because they fit me so poorly, I cannot really comment on their comfort. I'm sending them back.

Arch support is not up to KEEN standards. The stiff, nylon heel strap is scratchy and not tolerable.

The footbed was uncomfortable and while to toe box of the shoes look wide...they are NOT. My feet are a Medium width and I ordered a half size larger than normal. Normal is 8, I ordered 8.5. My toes were pushed to the front no matter how I set the velcro strap behind the heel. I have 2 pair of keens and no problem. Everyone I've ordered on Zappos has been returned. I will go directly to a shoe store from now on.

Keen really bombed with this one. Back strap is so uncomfortable. Shoe runs very small, and has very limited support. Could not ever wear for hiking or long walks.

Ordered a 9. The shoe is so small I can’t even get it on my foot. Keen was always true to size. Theses shoes are like a size 6. No way I can wear a 10 so they are going back without sizing up.

For me it didn’t work like my past keens. The back adjustment strap was not good for my feet. Very tight but looks wide..so I had to return.

I’ve worn Keen sandals for twenty years. I have skinny heels and a wide forefoot. These were torture before I stood up. Ravine uses a strap style I’ve worn before, still has siping on sole unlike new H2s. The forefoot of the sole has an abrupt curve towards the arch causing the top strap to dig into the inner flesh on the first metatarsal. Agony. I was worried about the heel strap causing blistering, didn’t even take a step. Extremely disappointed. No other Keen women’s sandals have siping other than this. Few choices in sandals this year. Don’t know if it’s supply chain issues or the brand is focused on other lines. Ordered a pair of Hoka sandals instead. I’ll have move to the men’s line for H2s.

I ordered these to replace my now sadly defunct Venice H2's because the style is similar. I returned them because the velcro on the heel is VERY uncomfortable. I wish these could have worked because the Venice has been discontinued. :(

Had similar problem as other reviewers with the velcro back strap. I didn't think this would be an issue as I'd worn Teva's with velcro closures before with no problem, but it wasn't staying closed and popping off just wearing them around the house the first time. Big time quality control/design problem Keen! I wish I could find the Newports in black in my size.

Not comfortable at all. Ended up with the Astoria which are perfect for my feet.
