I got these shoes as a gift. They fit perfectly, true to size. They are extremely comfortable for walking, and stable while walking on a trail. Plus they are stylish. I haven't had the opportunity to test out waterproofing or durability yet.

This shoe is primarily used on the trail. I will buy another pair for work or other stuff. On the trail, it is very supportive while being comfortable. After many miles, I know I will buy at least one more pair for other activities.

I bought these for hiking and playing disc golf during the winter months. I haven't worn them outside for any significant length of time, but so far they feel great and should provide good traction and stay dry with the sloppiness created by the constant freeze/thaw. Can't wait to get more time outside in these.

Poor SupportGreat Support
My flat feet make it pretty difficult to find the support I need in a hiking shoe. These shoes with a pair Birkenstock half soles on top of existing insoles do the trick. Super cushy soles provide minimal impact. Zero break-in requirement for me. They are a tad wide for my medium width feet. It follows, my feet are not quite as locked up in the shoe as I’d like. But they are not giving me blisters. Also, I often hike in the rain. And I have yet to determine how waterproof they really are. So I can’t speak to that just yet. These shoes meet most of my general requirements very well - which is pretty unusual in my world. These are comfortable trail shoes.

Love the shoes. Getting waterproof shoes that feel comfortable is hard to find. Most seem like dead weight hiking boots. These are comfortable with a great grip. Perfect for hiking or anytime you need to trust your feet.

This is an excellent trail/hiking shoe. I walk heavy on my heels, and the cushioning there is plentiful but not too much to make it feel spongy. Also, the soles last quite a while (in fact, this pair lasted twice as long as a similar pair of North Face shoes I had did) before wearing down. It is indeed waterproof and are easy to clean if muddy. I really have no complaints about this shoe - I honestly bought the same pair twice because I liked them that much.

These shoes are the best!!!! They fit PERFECTLY and are very comfortable and durable to wear around town. They are also very cool-looking with the cool pattern and colors. If I have trouble picking what shoes to go somewhere, these are probably one of the first pairs I would pick instinctively. These are an amazing addition to my collection!

I bought these to use as golf shoes and they are super. Great comfort and a nice fit. They are much more stable than regular athletic shoes and I don't like golf spikes. These are ideal for golf.

Color & materials on the light grey suede colorway is really interesting and more unique than the same boring black, browns & tans. I like that the Timberland tree logo is more hidden due to the texture of the suede, as I really hate obvious/obnoxious logos that have been trending these past few years. It's a very comfortable shoe that I'll use for day hikes, and it seems like it's durable too. Well-made, no glue marks. I like that the shoe is made more sustainably, it's a step forward. However, I'm not ready to say more responsible, since Timberland provides no info on the conditions of the factories or workers that make this shoe, or any of their products, or at least what I can find than a standard HR paragraph about VF's Ethics & Compliance. They provide a list of the factories and vendors, but no ratings, you would have to sleuth that yourself.
