This is the first time I brought a more casual sandal from Keen. I have other Keen footwear which I use to do water sports or hiking. What I like about these sandals are they are rather lightweight feel that run true to size, When walking in them, they do have a very natural feel. But, I do wonder if Keen could make the sole of sandal softer to enhance the comfort level. Perhaps, Keens thinking is to give the buyer more gripping in the sole. I would prefer a softer sole to enhance the comfort level since you would not use these sandals for sports. In that regard, Keen could open a whole new line of sandals targeted towards the consumer who is looking for a more relaxed comfortable footwear. For example, I personally prefer fisherman sandals but all they have on the market now are ones that are way too uncomfortable to wear.

Supportive cushy comfortable like walking on pillows

Purchased as a gift for my 70 y/o dad for Father's Day. He put them on right out of the box and wore them for the entire day working and playing at the lake. No breaking-in needed! The soles provided safe traction in wet and dry conditions on a variety of surfaces (dock, brick pathways, dirt/mud, etc), and adjustable straps held feet securely.

I had an American made version of this and I remember it being fitting great right out of the box, these Vietnam shoes not so much. They are off, not super comfortable I hope they break in ok.

My third pair of sandals as good as the first pair work or play I wear KEENS

My husband had been looking for a pair of sandals like this for ages. Unfortunately, the strap that goes across the top of the foot is way too short. Others have commented on this as well. Seems like an easy fix, Keen. We'd love to try again in the future.

Really needed a pair of sandals that would support my arches well. Have been going through a bought of plantar fasciitis and these provide a very pleasant solution. Perfect for the coming summer months!

Birthday gift

All very good.. it is my third pair

First about sizing. I wear 11 in adidas shoes and 11.5 in Nike shoes and always wear size 12 in slides and most sandals so I went for size 12 in these keen sandals and they were absolutely perfect. They are not big by any measure they fit perfectly. I have bigger than usual ankles so thats where I would have loved to see some extra room but not to worry they fit just fine on the outer limit for me personally. These sandals are very rugged and perfect for hiking as long as you dont hike on a gravel surface which is what I had to do to climb higher to the hiking path but even gravel did not stop me from enjoying my hike in keen sandals. Not they are wonderful for hiking but if you plan on just walking in these then Id recommend wearing something with a bit more cushioning on the bottom. These arent very cushiony? If I can say it that way but they are great for climbing rocks and having a good grip. But for standing around maybe not these. You did submerge these in water and like the description claims they are definitely water proof as in they do not get ruined by getting them wet as ordinary leather shoes would. These are definitely one of my favorite shoes if I can call it that. Enjoy

These are great sandals that are very comfortable with a cushy insole. I had a previous pair of Keen sandals that lasted 10 years. Living in Hawaii, I wore them everyday. Definitely they were well made..

I really wanted to love these sandals! But now I have new keen sandals that will make a good paper weight unfortunately. After wearing them a few times they give me blisters on my toes. Ive tried to give these sandals a few tries and every time I try them I get sores or blisters on my toes.

but a bit too soon to tell. Recently had foot surgery and needed something I could walk in that would accommodate my foot that will be swollen for some time. Cant fit into my normal shoes. So far, these Keens are working fine, but its only been like 2 weeks,

I'm glad the sizing instructions said they were larger than normal so I order a 14 instead of my normal 15. They fit well except for I have a narrow foot and the band doesn't allow for much adjustment. They are comfortable and I hope they last longer than my prior 2 Newport sandals did as the stiching came off the heals in 9-10 months. Keen did replace the first pair and I'm submitting a warranty claim for the second pair.

Nice sizing, nice quality

I wanted a sandal for land and surf (live in San Diego and take many shore walks) that would minimize trapping of small shell pieces and rock as I walked. Tried several other options and these were by far the best for all of the above. I have had them for about two years now with no issues at all. I love them. If these are some or all of your needs, I recommend them. When the wear out Iwill definitely buy another.

Great shoes holds up well 2nd pair after 2-3 years. Guards well against roofing nails.

I have the brown and grey; and I'm ordering backups. Open scandals in the summer heat are wonderful, and you can walk a ways in these. I really appreciate and need the arch support. Thanks for the great scandals! Keep up the good work!!
