Very comfortable, but straps do not work. DO NOT BUY! KEEN is clearly selling a product that doesn't work. The strap is 100% non-effective. Loosens with each step. If the strap actually worked, I would say these are the best flip flops ever. But clearly Keen is ignoring product testing and selling a defective product. After taking a mile walk in them, they are deemed useless and a waste of money as the straps don't work. The buckle is too large. Shame on you KEEN!!

True to size

I own about a dozen pairs of Keens, from work boots, hikers, casual shoes to sandals. I ordered an 8 based on the fact that my Waimeas and Newport H2s (that both fit well) are 8s. When I received my new Solr Toe Posts and tried them on, they seemed small. I compared them to my other sandals and they do seem to run at least a half size smaller (see pics). I went to a local shoe store to try on a pair in 9, and they measured my feet which both landed dead-on 8-1/2. I tried on the 9s and the length was pretty good, but I tightened the arch strap as far down as it would go and it was still loose across my arch. I don't have flat feet and my feet run a little wide, so I was surprised that the buckle was bottoming out on its attachment point before tightening up. So, even though I really like the look and the arch strap concept, having a true 8-1/2 foot, I could not make the 8 or 9 work. El-sucko! All three sandals in the pix are 8s. The Waimeas (blue strap) fit with a nice little buffer between my foot and the edge of the foot bed at both the toe and heel. You can see with the Solr Toe Post that my foot is basically at the edge of the foot bed at both ends. In the pix with the multiple sandals, I tried to line the toes up with a line on the floor so you could see the difference in length at the heel.

Love the style but that damn clasp doesn’t keep the strap from loosening. I’m still keeping them because I like the style-It’s different.

The toe box is too narrow my pinky toe hung off the side a little. usually keens have a wide toe box but not these was disappointed. love the way i could tighten the flip flops to my foot just wish the toe box was wide like regular keens
