These are hard to review. They are very light. They are impressively structural, ie the last is more rigid and controlling than you would think from handling the shoe. I've worn these a week of casual wear and 4 ~5 miles trail hikes over rocky, wooded and wet trail, I would say they are not broken in and would hesitate to take on a long hike. The sole tread is very effective. The waterproofing is 100% effective so far. I have narrow feet and these feel somewhat tight at 1/2 size over normal size and I feel some toe box crowding. If you don't have narrow feet I wouldn't recommend these. The gusseted tongue rubs on my medial ankle prominence. I have concerns about the durability of all the bonded rubber in the soles and toe cap. The lacing system is excellent. All in all, I researched a lot of shoes before buying and expected a bit more in terms of out of the box comfort. I'm hoping my impressions so far translate to long term durability and support.

Very comfortable. The stretchy part above the heel keeps pebbles from entering the boot.
Boots are already falling apart after 5 hikes. Typically I wear out the tread in my boots in one hiking season. If the boot falls apart at the same time no big deal for me. If they don't last that long then I'll be unhappy.

Feels great wearing them. I have done multi-mile hikes with no pain of any kind. They feel firm and supportive but lightweight.

These are extremely well made. They are monster trucks for your feet but incredibly light. The problem is the fit, I tried up to a size and a half above what I normally wear and they were too small. The forefoot is very narrow and the rubber toe cap allows no wiggle room or breaking in. The rest of the foot is slightly more narrow than a normal medium width but quite tall in volume. The insole is a tiny layer of ortholite. I did a lot of research on these shoes before buying and wanted to keep them but I gave up on fitment. A narrow toebox with a rubber toecap is just a bad idea in a hiking/trail shoe in my opinion.

The boots were comfy, but I neglected to notice they were only available in a medium width. Not all bad I suppose as they were clearly worn before I got them. No tags, dirt on toe rand. I wish they fit though, they felt great besides the width. Very lightweight.

I've gone with La Sportiva for years because they run on the narrow side, and these didn't disappoint. I'm guessing in reality a C width at the most, but perfect for me. If these will fit you, they're very cushy right out of the box - no need for a softer insole.

These seem like great boots, extremely lightweight, but I could barely get my feet into them. I would try a full size larger. Also, the inner sole was rigid and form fitted, so my foot couldn’t move. I would still give them a try in a larger size if I can find them.
