Too short for a 9, I wear an 8.5 so need a half size bigger.

I am walking every day as I can't go to my cycle class at the gym. I don't think these shoes have as much support while walking as the last pair I purchased in the store.

I ordered these in wide and they were disappointingly more narrow than my last pair of Fresh Foam cross trainers. I believe the "leather" trim where the laces begin (near the top of the toe box) does not allow the shoe to stretch much, even though the material can accommodate a wider width. I don't know if it is just bad luck or if NB shoes seem more narrow overall. This is the second pair of NB sneakers I have purchased where the width was much more narrow than their predecessors. I kept these, despite the width issue. I figured they would stretch out; they did but I would not repurchase this style. If you have wide feet, proceed with caution on this pair of cross trainers.

There are 2 things I love about these shoes: the raised area above the heel that keeps your heel from moving up and down and the look. However, there is no cushioning! In fact they feel rock hard when I walk. This shoe also runs small. I walk my dog 2.5-3 miles every day and do alot of walking at work. These were not comfortable at all. Please, make a shoe with the heel padding that prevents heel rubbing, but with cushioning in the sole like a Skechers shoe. I really wanted to love these shoes since they are made in the USA, I just don't.

I first ordered a 6 1/2 wide and it was way to big overall, so I returned it and got a 6 wide and it was so tight that I could barely get my thin socked foot into the shoe. I did not feel like a wide at all. Sadly sending it back too.

I wanted to like these so much. I haven't had New Balance for years and years now - but remember them as cushy, supportive, and just like walking on clouds. These had good reviews, so I was so excited to receive these. Well...I have normally narrow feet, and these say they are M - but WOW, I felt like the shoes are so narrow, that they're actually painful to wear. There is no room in the toe box. I cannot use my separate insoles in these at all. The most surprising thing was, they feel like 9 1/2's, at least a half size smaller than my normal 10 - which I reliably wear in everything. Finally - the lack of any 'cushy' feeling, or even support made these absolutely horrendous. I really tried to wear these and they're just too painful. Sadly - I walked around outside in them, and cannot return them - my bad. So - I'm going to donate them, hoping someone can get use out of them. I'm completely turned off by the brand now, and have ordered some Hoka One's instead. Praying that they are what I'm looking for.

These were so cute but had to return because they were a full size too short. I ordered the 11. No way to wear any type of sock either - no room.
Did not work for me.

I normally wear a size 8 1/2, but with any athletic shoe I size a half size up. The size 9 was tight and narrow, barely got my feet into them, I have other New Balance shoes in size 9 that fit perfectly. Very disappointed in this pair especially since they cost $119.00 On the plus side it is a nice looking shoe. Needless to say, they are being returned immediately. Not going to try a full size up since I don't think they would even fit.

Very displeased with this style. Have worn NB for years. Tried on 4 sizes and chose the best after walking jumping around the house. But after 2 hours of walking got a bad metatarsal burn. Never experienced with athletic shoes and never with New Balance. Don't know if the padding in this region was too light for me, but now they are useless to me.

The tongue connecting to the shoe, was as thick as the shoe itself. No matter the height of your arch, the shoe was ill-fitted. Due to the tongue, I could not gauge if the shoe runs true, small or large.

I sized up to be able to wear these and they were still tight on me.
