Really liking this shoe a lot! Fit is true and wraps the foot like a glove. More importantly for me is the comfort. I have not had the Fresh Foam product before and it has been very impressive. As I am still going through a long recovery for a torn plantar fascia on one foot this year and a torn achilles tendon on the other foot in the prior year, I have had a difficult time finding any kind of shoe that has adequate padding and feels really good without aggravating my injuries. This shoe ticks all the boxes for me and my feet have finally found comfort in a shoe. This has been a home run for me!

I would buy this product again however, they seem too tight so for me, I need to purchase these in an extra wide width.
I use these for P90X workouts

Very comfortable and lightweight. Easy to slip on, good support and they look good. 4E fits like EE from previous iterations.

Very comfortable shoe and surroundings my foot like a pillow. There is a area around my arch of my foot that's too narrow. Please suggest another show that feels that soft bus is as wide as the 860 or the 910.

Fresh Foam Cross TR are a great combination of comfort and support. Have worn NB for years, first try with Foam. I will never go back - great, supportive fit. Runs true to size.

2 weeks on of nearly daily wear, these Fresh Foam Cross TRs are very comfortable, supportive, and surprisingly lightweight. I do a lot of walking on my job, and these seem to be holding up well. Very pleased.
Ordered the 4E width, but as with some of New Balance models, this is equivalent to the 2E in a 990 (my standard).

Excellent cross trainers! My first pair of foam shoes and are very lightweight and breathable. After my first pair I bought a second within 2 weeks.

I bought shoe to workout in and do a little light soccer training, but this shoe is great for running moderate distances to. The shoe is light and the toe of the shoe is tapered (not bulky) which helps with the feel of the shoe for juggling a soccer ball. I ran 3 miles and thought I probably should have changed to regular running shoe, but the Fresh Foam Cross TR felt great. In fact it felt better than higher priced running shoes I own. It also came in a wider size which I recommend if you have any problem at all with regular width shoes. I will explore other New Balance shoes with this foam design because the feel of this shoe is great!! It might run slightly small but not enough to label it anything but true to size!

Looking for a lighter weight, better cushioned shoe. Helps alleviate knee pain from high impact cardio, mostly Zumba.

I bought these for my husband. He's not much of a workout fiend but he does dabble at times. I had ordered him another pair of NB in an 11.5 but they ran narrow and he does not have a wide foot. Those were sold out in a 12 so I ordered these. He wanted some color but nothing too flashy. So tired of grey and black. These fit him well, but he did say they were tighter in width than he is used to but not uncomfortably so. I am going to mark these as true to size because they are not too tight, just more than he's used to.
I assume it's because they are a Cross training shoe and you need a bit more lateral stability than in a running shoe?
The reason for 1-star deduction is the look. Even though they aren't white or grey or black, he did say they looked a bit like a "dad" shoe. He didn't want to return and wait for another pair so he's keeping these.

The style I could't care less about honestly since I just needed some new walking shoes. They felt great on my feet, very cushioned and supported. But after lacing up, the mouthpiece felt extra tight and still do to this day 5 or so months later. I probably wouldn't get the same pair again because of this but maybe look for something else in this line with a wider or taller or more malleable mouth.

I've been working out with this shoe for several months now and so far no complaints. The shoe is flexible yet stable. I've had no problems doing box jumps, squats, lunges, side shuffles. The shoe also feels comfortable when I'm doing sprints or high knees. In comparison, my previous workout shoe was the NB Minimus Prevail. I found that shoe to be a lot more stiff and seemed to hinder running or side to side shuffle.

As a senior, I am finding it very difficult to tie my laces because the laces are black as is the tongue of the sneaker. Sure one could switch out for colored laces, however, if some silver threads were interwoven into the laces, life would be easier.

I plan to use this as cross training/CrossFit shoes. They were too tight across and in front of the toes, and I usually wear a 10.5. I will have to get up to 11.

Pros:
comfortable feel
stylish look
well constructed shoe
easy to get on and off
Cons:
Too small of a sole (in the wide)
Overview:
This shoe is exactly what you want from New Balance, well put together, easy to wear, and the design and colors aren't crazy. This shoe would be my go to except for one flaw: the bottom sole and subsequent platform is too narrow in the wide. I went with NB this time because they make a great wide shoe, but in my feet this base was too narrow and my other wide training shoes they match the wide foot with a wider base. If it weren't for that little bit of width issue, I'd buy these in all the colors and have pairs for the next few years.

A bit narrow but they're responsive and comfy. Very grippy on a workout mat. Can work against you for sliding and pivoting moves. A great Father's Day gift!

Size is right on. Look and feel great. BUT (lol).. walking on tile like in a restaurants bathroom, the soles are VERY slippery.
Other than that. I would purchase again, but will be extra extra careful.
