Love these shorts but they do run small, as others have stated. I am 5’2” 106 lbs wear a size 0 petite pant and I wear a medium in these shorts. I tried the small (which according to size chart I should wear) and could barely squeeze into them. For reference I do not have slender thighs but not huge either, middle of the road. Just size up one size.

This item runs very small in my opinion. I got a Medium, my normal size. I’m usually between a 4/6 in bottoms and I can BARELY fit these.

These run super small! But if you get the right size (I ordered a size up), they fit and feel great.

I love these cycling shorts. I read the reviews and ordered a medium instead of a small. Very happy with that decision. These shorts are the perfect length. I am thinking about buying a second pair.

Perfect fit, I wear a US womens size 6 or 8 in pants and the large was perfect. Love the shorter length.

If you are going to get padded pants then these are very good quality and look better than most. Order one size larger than usual with Pearl Izumi. I found that all the thick padding was generally too uncomfortable to walk in. But it is not just these shorts.

These are the best padded bike shorts i’ve ever found! They go up high enough to hide any kind of muffin top, and they also fit nicely under shorts or riding skorts because of the shorter length. Now you just need to make them in another color!

Very flattering and a nice change of from too-long cycling shorts. Size up on this!

As others mentioned these run small. Order a size up from your usual size.

These shorts were exactly what I was looking for! I read the reviews and ordered up a size (to a medium) and they fit perfectly. I am thinking about ordering another pair! I love the 5 inch length of this cycling short!

Runs very small but a cute style, more contemporary looking than most other bike shorts... especially if you are short or just prefer shorter shorts. I had to return because too small and larger sizes not available in the nice blue color.

I love Pearl Izumi bike shorts but I didn’t realize how SHORT this pair is (which I totally would have if I’d taken two seconds to look at the description that is in bold face type). I’m going to keep them even though I personally prefer a longer inseam. They are comfortable and well made and I only use them inside on my spin bike. If you like the short inseam you will like these shorts. Just pay attention to what you are ordering before you hit the buy button:)

Theses shorts run small. I have been biking for years and normally wear Specialized Comp Roubex shorts in a size small. I could not get the small on and the med was tight in this PI sugar short.

Started with a medium and this style is so small compared with my Attack shorts. Zappos sent me another pair in large. They fit better but the short length, which is actually pretty cute, ended up literally bulging my inner leg flesh out in such an exaggerated manner that I just couldn’t keep them. I’ve exchanged them for another pair of Pearl Izumi Attack shorts, which have been reliable for me for years. I was looking to mix it up a little with the Sugar style but these just don’t work for me.

I'm 5'4, 118 pounds, I usually wear size 4 (or 2, or 6 depending on the brand) and medium was too tight and uncomfortable. They otherwise might have been fine shorts, hard to tell without riding with them. But I'm trying another brand.

These are incredibly small. I usually wear a 10/12 in Lululemon or large in other cycling shorts, but these shorts in a 2XL were at least one size too small for me. Unfortunately they don't come any larger, so I had to return them for a refund.

These shorts use a different material than Pearl Izumi has used in the last-less stretchy. Runs small like previous reviewer mentioned. Get a bigger size, otherwise you’ll be sharing images of the front of your body you do NOT want to share! The color will be difficult to pair with anything. Try Terry bicycle shorts, the chamois is actually positioned correctly!
