I ride my bike 5 days a week on NJ streets. I want something that can be noticed. I came back from my first ride and my wife says that's really a bright orange. That's all I wanted to hear.

Good colors, feels great but runs small. I ordered a large but fits like a fitted medium. I should have ordered a XL to make it feel like a large.

I'm 5'8; chest size 40; 175 lbs.; and I wear medium size shirts. Before I start, please know I am comparing this to the other Asics running shirt I have: the Ventilate Short Sleeve Top, which I have in the "sheet rock" color. Comfort: I also bought two different sizes for this particular shirt. The medium size is fitted and lies close to my skin. The large was looser but not egregiously loose so I kept the large. This shirt does have more of a stretch to it. It isn't as "stiff-feeling" as the Ventilate Short Sleeve Top. So that's a plus. Performance: in my opinion, it retains more water than the Ventilate Short Sleeve. It's getting warming in Houston, so I'm sweating more during my jogs. I also bought this shirt in black so it may not be reflecting the sunlight as well. Regardless, I honestly feel like this shirt is a couple of ounces heavier, whether pre-jog and/or post-jog. Also, the perforations on the back of the shirt are MUCH narrower than the ones on the Ventilate Short Sleeve Top shirt. It covers the majority of the back of the shirt but it doesn't vent as well. Wash: I tend to throw all my sportswear in the dryer on high heat after a wash. The shirt didn't shrink, but the problem is the perforations on the back. Since it's narrow, and due to the material, it fused together in a patch. You can pull it apart but you'll risk tearing the shirt eventually. This isn't a problem that's exclusive to Asics because my UA Qualifier Iso-Chill running shirt has the same issue. (This shirt is still better than the UA version, IMO) I don't mean to bash this shirt because it does its job but if you're considering this shirt or the Ventilate Short Sleeve Top, I would honesty just spend the extra $10 and get the Ventilate Short Sleeve Top.
