I found these shoes to be very comfortable right out of the box. They are true to size with a nice big toe box so my toes are not rubbing when I wear wool socks for hiking. The shoes are stiff, but that is a good thing when you are hiking rough terrain. I am very happy with these!

Fit of these shoes felt narrower and smaller than expected. Had to return for half a size larger and they fit now but still seem narrow, which may resolve in time with wear. Overall very nice in appearance.

This is a great hiking shoe. When I ordered it, all they had the shoe in was Lilac. I was not a fan of the color, but that’s just my personal opinion. I will definitely be ordering this shoe in a different color, when it’s available. I have a narrow to medium foot & it fit beautifully. Ordered my regular size & shoe was a perfect fit. Very cushioned heel & very good arch support. Love this shoe!

These shoes were very definitely a different fit than even the Sawtooth II (which runs narrower than the Sawtooth original.). Very disappointing as the shoe looked well made and was good looking.

I have worn these size 10 hikers on two day hikes now. They are excellent shoes, true to size and incredibly well constructed. They are well worth the money. I ordered two other shoes, Merrill and North Face, a little less expensive shoes and it definitely reflects in their construction and feel. The Oboz Firebird is super sure footed, has nice arch support, has an amazing kick toe box that has kept me safe as I do bang those big toes sometimes when hiking! Also, loved the Lilac color.

Love Oboz, and these do not disappoint. Appreciate the wider toe box, and great arch support. Waterproofing is good, and these are my go to for hiking and running errands on wet days in Colorado. I don't love the color choices, and that's why I gave 4 for style.

I loved the color on these. I’ve had B-dry Oboz in the past & I’m sure these will keep your feet dry as long as water doesn’t go over the top. The fit was good but I ended up returning these as they were a bit heavier & the toe box was narrower than the ones I kept, also an Oboz brand. I have a hard foot to fit & therefore wear any shoes I buy around the house for several days to ensure a good fit.

This shoe is nice looking and comfortable but the outer ankle area comes too high on me so it rubs on my ankle bone.

I needed hiking/walking shoes that were waterproof and light weight. My husband loved his Oboz so this was the first time I tried this brand and it doesn't disappoint. I went on a 4 mile hike today and it was a little muddy and cold but my feet stayed nice and dry and warm. I love these shoes and I plan to wear them a lot.

Had to size up 1/2 size. Green color is really nice. Shoes fit narrow with a wider toe box. Good bottom tread for a women's shoe. I like the metal lined lace holes because they won't break like my vasque shoes.

The purple color is fun, something different. However... Need more color options! I ordered my usual size 8 and they fit great.

Needed to return as they seemed to run a half size smaller. I have worn the Sawtooth 2 in a 9 but would have needed a 9.5 in the Firebrand. Other then that they are a very nice shoe. Seem sturdy and well built.

Great fit and shock absorption. Good support and rocker. Because these are low you have to lace them tight to get full ankle support. They felt great from the start. An excellent shoe.

For my AAA foot the heel cup was too wide. The shoe felt clunky but the length was true to size.
