I love Dansko and have several styles. Typically size 39 works for me in sandals (40 in shoes), however the arch did not hit my foot correctly in the Cece so I went to a size 40. Because of the adjustable velcro foot strap, I was able to tighten the fit around my foot and the arch hits in the right spot. The black color is somewhat muted, which I really like. It doesn't look so "heavy" The light colored sole also makes the shoe look summery and light in proportion with dresses. The photo shows the difference in burnished black leather between the Cece and Reece sandals.

Dansko makes great thong shoes because they have wonderful support, the leather shapes to your foot and the sizing is true to size. Comfortable and last.

These are so comfortable, right out of the box and they don't have that clunky, heavy feel that other supportive sandals have. I love these.

Really cute sandal style from Dansko. They arrived speedily, and unfortunately will be sent back just as speedily. The placing of the toe piece was such that my foot was directed off to the outside of the shoe and my foot was not guided straight on the sole. The size was also an issue: I wear a 38 but the 38 had no unused space behind or before the sole. Foot slippage on the sole left my heel hanging off the heel in back or crammed against the toe piece in front.

As usual all of Dansko thong sandals are excellent, great style, great fit and best of all great arch support. However, I would like to see Dansko offer more cork footbed sandals. Mephisto has a great selection but Danskos fit me better and give better support.

These shoes are like walking on a cloud. I ordered a 2nd pair. Dansko can be hard and painful or soft and cushy. These are cushy.

Felt comfortable right out of the box. The suede sole is very soft. I’m very satisfied.

The challenge with Dansko is that they don't flex at all and that doesn't feel comfortable to me. It's the same with Birkenstock and Mephisto. I found myself stumbling because the toe would catch on something because it sticks straight out. I'm returning them.

Dansko always run too small. I'm an 11 and the 42 was just a little too short.

The shoe is exact what I needed for arch support. I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes have re,ieved the pain for me.

I am a big fan of Dansko shoes, and these are pretty good overall. Not as supportive as other Dansko soles, but pretty good for a flip flop. I got the black, and my only real complaint is that the sole and foot bed are might colored. A white sole with a light beige footbed. Shows more dirt, and looks for geriatric to me.

I wear a 38 in Dansko. My toes were right up front and my feel were falling off of the footbed..

These are adorable and great quality, but I was so disappointed. The way they fit caused my foot to keep sliding off to the side.

This replaced an old Merrell thong type sandal and is a step up in arch support and fit. The strap over the top of the foot is adjustable, which allows the sandal to remain securely on the foot. Purchased in “sand burnished calf”, which is versatile to wear with everything.

Comfortable when I first tried them on. A very nice sandal.

They were comfortable but if you are ordering Black, the color is Black Burnished Calf and it is actually more grey, absolutely not Black. I was disappointed had to move on to another pair of flip flops because I wear mostly black and these do not match black.

I love the look of these sandals! They are made beautifully of quality materials. The footbed is soft, and there is good arch support. The problem that I had with them is that the heel cup is not deep enough for me. My foot slides around too much, and I fear slipping out of the heel. So, regretfully, they are going back.

I love these thong sandals. The leather is soft as butter, and they are so beautifully made.

Good quality Dansko shoe. I gave 4 stars because am not a fan of the nubby footbed… I prefer all rubber, so that it can be worn near water. The 2tone tan and white makes the shoe very casual… a solid color overall might make it more suitable to wear from day into evening.

Perfect fit

This sandal looks great and feels even better! It is expensive for a sandal and I was prepared to return it unless it was a perfect fit and very comfortable. It is. The sand color is very neutral and will go with almost anything. I have a narrow foot at the arch so the adjustable strap is perfect. The arch support is excellent. In fact, at first I thought that it might be too much but it seems to adjust to my foot after wearing for a few minutes.

Sworn off Dansko several years ago because the fit was inconsistent between styles. Surprised that these were both comfortable and not hideous!
