I remember being a little kid and having to 'break in' my shoes. I could only wear them for a little bit at a time, because they were too stiff, not flexible, and hurt your feet. Fast forward to today, and breaking in the shoe is a thing of the past....except for these Vionics. Honestly, they hurt my feet just sitting down with them on! Really ridged. Really stiff. Really painful. At first I thought it was just me, so I bought a wide of the same size, thinking that would be comfortable. No dice. Both pairs got shipped back. I don't understand the positive reviews.

These looked cheap and the arch support was a little high for me and too far back. They hurt my feet as soon as I put them on. I’ve heard good things about this brand from people I know but they are not going to work for me.

Arch support is too close to the heel. Extremely uncomfortable, even for someone who has high arches.

These shoes were supposed to be wide yet were more narrow than normal width shoes. They were so tight, my foot hurt as soon soon as I put one of the shoes on. I was really disappointed.

Returning these. Arch support rock hard, and forces foot to walk on outside edge and back on outside edge of heel. Inside sole insert not properly attached and digs into side of foot. These shoes are more like something one might find in a sale bin for "seconds". Apparently this company has no quality control whatsoever. Very disappointing.
