This is my second pair of Castaner espadrilles. I love then! Much more comfortable than one would expect. Classic shoe that goes with everything.

Beautiful fit! Never thought I’d be a wedge kind of gal, but these are super flattering and very comfy! I’ll be wearing these a lot this spring/summer!

I love these. I can’t wait for spring to arrive so I can wear them.

I wear 8 1/2 but the Euro size 40 was a perfect fit, even though the size guide recommended Euro 39 = 8 1/2. I returned the 39 and am THRILLED with these espadrilles!

I actually just got these for next Spring and Summer, so I haven’t worn them out yet. I wear a size 7 and am happy with the 36.

These shoes are surprisingly comfortable. I wore them all day at work and they felt great. I got a lot old compliments on them and they go with just about everything I wear.

I ordered a 36 because that is my size in Birkenstock (I usually wear a 7) and they were a half size too small, will be purchasing a 37.

This is a beautiful Espadrille! I bought a size 8, my foot normally runs on the wider side, but it fits comfortably in this shoe, although I do not think the shoe is wide, just a perfect medium. The heel height is so flattering and and comfortable to walk in. Material is a nice weight canvas, I took advantage of the sale and bought the azul rino, a perfect chambray blue color. I have not worn them except for trying but am already thinking I want another pair. A truly lovely quality shoe-makes my shoe loving heart sing:)

Am a traditional size 10, so ordered EU40, as the size guide indicated that would be size needed. Box said size 9, tho, so I was afraid they might be too small, which they were. My toes were pushed all the way into the closed toe, so I immediately called and was able to order the next size (EU41, which is also shown as correct size 10 on box) which I have received and very pleased with. I have very sensitive feet, and ordered to take on European vacation in few months, so breaking them in at home. They are very comfortable, height is just right. Am hoping the canvas will relax and “loosen” up a bit across top of my foot, which I expect them to. A big thank you to Zappo’s customer service people. I am new to Zappos, and this is second pair of shoes I’ve ordered and had to return/exchange, and they have been so helpful, super friendly and fast in getting the return label to me, as well as processing the replacements. Shipping is fast, too! I’m hooked :)

True to size- I’m glad I ordered my normal size 8 which was listed as a 38 in this shoe and usually an 8 is a 39. So I ordered the 8/38 and fits perfectly. I almost ordered a size down based on reviews and glad I didn’t because the black is now sold out. So order your normal size if for example size 8 them 8 but if you go by the euro size then if you’re a 39 do a 38.

I am a size 9 and almost always take a size 40. I had to size down to the 39 in these shoes. The fit was perfect. The height is just right.

I took the advice of another writer's review and ordered a size down. I ordinarily wear an American size 8, so ordered a size smaller European size 37 and they fit perfectly. Gorgeous espadrilles, very stylish, well made. Love the closed toe and soft, feminine wrap straps.

Very cute good quality, but narrow. Not great for wide feet.

I ordered these and Patricia green’s version of the same shoe. These have a narrower toe box and a little rougher look to them. The back weave isn’t quite as clean, though neither is perfect. They fit better and cleaner around the toes though, making my foot look slender and not clunky which wedges sometimes do. I think the canvas type fabric will also mold to the foot where I fear the PG ones will loosen you much. Patricia green has a natural color, which is more hemp. I preferred the casteñar’s cream color. It’s less casual. In both, the heel support is low, so that you have to tie the ballet laces snugly or the shoe will definitely slip off. In the higher heeled casteñar, my heel slipped around, but these did not. The last thing is the PG ones have slightly more cushion, but they’re both comfortable enough to walk around a lot. It’s a tough choice between them

Felt big

The shoes are really stylish. After seeing several British royals wearing them with multiple outfits I was so excited to get them. Unfortunately they did not fit and were not as comfortable as I expected. I’m a size 7 shoe and I ordered the 37 but it felt like a half size too small. I will probably go up a size and hope that it’s not too big.

however, toe box was too tight

These may work for someone but not for me. They are well made and the heel height is perfect but they are made for a slim foot and do not stretch as the front is not just cotton. The front buckles funny do to it not being able to stretch at all. The Saludos brand works much better for me and has a very flattering design.

Great quality shoe for the price.

These are gorgeous shoes and would look perfect with my outfit for a wedding. I ordered the 40 after reading the reviews about how they run small but they ended up being too big. Sadly, they were also uncomfortable and I would be thinking about how to keep them on my feet while wearing them. I am sending them back.

These are really cute shoes but found them at least a half size if not a full size too big. As with most espadrilles, they need to be handled with more care. Overall I didn’t feel they were a good fit for my lifestyle, so returned them and didn’t not reorder a smaller size.

First of all, I love closed-toe espadrilles. They are stylish and lengths my legs. I ordered the red Carina 60mm because I have several pieces in my wardrobe that I can accessorize the red espadrille with, and the heel height is comfortable to wear to work.

I ordered a 8 and exchanged for 9. Size up. Comfortable!!

These are the most elegant and beautiful shoes I've put on my feet in a very long time! I'm very sad to have to return them. They "fit" standing, as in the dimensions appeared to be right - length is good, width fine. But my heel slipped as if I were wearing flip-flops with every step. I tightened the wrap a lot (too much actually) but my heel still raised off the shoe quite dramatically with each step. As much as I wanted to find an excuse to keep them, I just couldn't imagine how I would manage walking around in flip-flop heels.

Love the heel height and look of this shoe but had to return for half size larger.
