I normally wear size 7 but bought the next size up because boots are usually more narrow and my foot is wide. I’m glad I did, boots fit comfortable. They look just as advertised, made of quality material & they are stylish. I’ve worn the boots with pants tucked in and out and it looks nice. Granted I do not have thick calves.

In reading previous comments, it was recommended to order 1/2 a size larger. I normally wear a 7 but I ordered 7 1/2 and the boots fit perfect. They are comfortable to wear and roomy. I wore them with my jeans and tucked the pant leg in the boot. Made my outfit look stylish and I felt good. I don’t have thick calf’s so the opening of the boot is a little wide around my calf area but it is ok. Boots are made of quality material and they look just as advertised.

Perfect fit- I wore them with tights, but probably too tight if I wore socks. Ordered my usual size 6. Very comfortable, even though the heel is bigger than I usually wear. Definitely worth the price-Beautifully made boots.

These are cute in person, well made, and I always get compliments on them. They have an 80s vintage vibe that totally makes me feel like Claire from The Breakfast Club. Agree with the other reviewer that you should get a 1/2 size larger if you plan to wear with thick socks or just want more room. I was fortunate to find these on sale, and very happy with the purchase!

This is the most beautiful mid-calf boot I have seen after years of searching. It would have been so practical in my wardrobe, a real workhorse, except that the heel was too high for me -- to the point that I felt like I was walking on my big toes. Sadly gel inserts for high heels did not solve the problem. Here's to hoping that J Crew makes an Anya with a lower heel. BTW for the size 10 the front of the shaft is 14" above the ground; the back is 12".

The boots are really cute. The boot is also well made and of good quality. I haven't worn them yet, but they were comfortable when I tried them on.
